I have placed a copy of his headstone application on the memorial. It appears that the marker was not ordered until 1952 but I have no idea what the burial date was. Stamp on the reverse was the signature of Russell E Ficke.
I really wish that you had not removed my request as now I cannot redo it until next week.

Pvt Callahan & Corp. McTigue have beautiful tombstones and you really did them justice. Thanks for the care & effort you clearly put in to the images you upload (I took a look at some of your other Calvary volunteer images: all excellent).

Kathlyn Kraffmiller
Kraffmiller Family at Calvary
Hi Mike,
A few years ago you were kind enough to take a picture of Michael Kraffmiller's monument in Calvary Cemetery.
Would you now be able to link the picture to the other family members also buried in this plot?

Renee S Carolan Hopper O C
Ford Carolan Berkery Slaggery etc
Good day:

I thank you for taking the picture of Mary Ford Carolan and Owen Carolan for Tom.

I too am a greatdranddaughter.

Here is the question I ask Tom as I will ask you?

Mary Ford Carolan from Cork County one of the sites for the Ford Motor Company.

One of the family members wrote to them last year. Interesting.

My father Joseph Carolan went to Ireland.

I live in Austin TX .

The Ford sister and brothers came off the ship in Ireland that is all documented.

What is interesting to me is to find the court death certicate that has to go with the graves and are registered with the city in order to dig.

Note I was told this by the Federal Cemetery in NY.

I went there. Now I am looking for that document from Calvary.

If you have a moment, since I will be going to Michigan. I am very familiar with that state.

I thank you for what you do.

I already met with the soldiers this morning and that is what I do best.

The Carolans have served in the military since they came to the United States that includes my family.

Just a moment of your time.

Memorial Day 2014.

I may have made a mistake by saying there is no stone for him. I read the email from Woodlawn office wrong. I am going up today to see and fill more requests. I will put the picture up if I find it and then let you know.

Thank you so much for the photo of my great grandparents' grave - the bonus was that there were 4 ancestors on one headstone - this is very much appreciated as I don't live in the area and a lot of my ancestors are buried in Calvary Cemetery. Buon Natale !! Mary
