Thank you for the transfers. I appreciate it. I too have been meeting the photo requests at Oakland. I try to go 2-3 times a week. I also love and appreciated the DGS website. It has been very useful in finding the burials of the people who's photo requests are on the list. If I can ever be of help, please email me. Thanks again, your friend, Virginia Paredes Tijerina.

Thank you SOO much for sharing all the information you have on Mt. Auburn Cemetery, and the other cemeteries in the immediate are!
I really appreciate all the work you and the genealogical associate are doing. I am comforted knowing that you and your association are documenting my grandparent's stillborn baby buried in Mt. Auburn, and all those buried in Mt. Auburn, and the surrounding cemeteries.

My paternal grandparent's stillborn baby girl is buried in Mt. Auburn Cemetery: Baby Girl Samuels Find A Grave #87657351.
It is my understanding that in 1966 the City of Dallas made Mt. Auburn, as well as a Confederate Soldier Cemetery and a Black Cemetery into a larger area city park named Opportunity Park.
I am also told that when the park was made some headstones could have possibly covered up.
I see that there are 406 memorial listed here on Find A Grave for Mt. Auburn Cemetery, which includes the memorial I created for Baby Girl Samuels.
Is there a formal or informal list of all the people interned in Mt. Auburn, and where they are located?
I would also like to know the exact location of Mt. Auburn when looking on Google Earth.
Can you help me with these questions?
Thank you, and God Bless,

I found these markers in Greenleaf Cemetery, in Brownwood, TX, and as seeing you had a memorial for Charles Jr., I transferred his parents to you. Also I might add, according to the office there at Greenleaf Charles Jr is buried in Babyland unmarked. I tried to find marker, but could not locate.

I see that you are already familiar with Find A Grave. Go to Find A Grave#72961979 for Benjamin Clemens. At the bottom of the page the contributor is James Clemons. He is the only Clemens/Clemons that I've had any contact with. I know that I got some of the info on Benjamin from that Find A Grave. He may be able to help you. Jane

Mable Shanks Dancy was the first wife of my maternal great grandfather. If you choose not to transfer, please consider adding a link to her infant son's grave (# 64562947). She preceded him in death. I've asked the creator of that memorial for help linking as well. Thank you for your many contributions.
