|d synnott||Sitchie Clevenger|
Sitche is my 4X great Grandmother on my mom's side of the family. Thanks for the grave photo! Is there one of her husband's, Thomas Clevenger, grave in that area or was it never found? What was the graveyard area like? Do you have a photo of the graves around this one? My curiosity is great and I would love to know about how you found it and why, details like that. Whether my questions are answered or not, thank you for taking the time to take this photo and post it!!

|Loretta Holcomb Tomlin||Mitchell Family|
I am trying to verify that Mary W. Holcomb was the mother of Roy Truitt Mitchell buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia, TX. Mary would have been my great, great aunt. Also in Roy's obit it mentions that his father was a minister - what faith/church and do you know where Roy's parents are buried?

|Melinda Moorehouse||Randall Robison Browne|
Randall Robison Browne was my great great grandfather. To my understanding he had 21 children between the 2 wives. The last son born to the first wife was my great grandfather. The children from the second wife dropped the "e" from the end of Browne to distinguish between the two families. I have a picture of him in my home. His son that was my great grandfather died in the 1918 influenza epidemic. He left my great grandmother to raise 7-8 children, 1 being my grandfather. My grandfather was 20 at the time. He quit school to help his mother on the farm. The house was there until the late 70's early 80's. It had been turned into a restaurant, but burned to the ground. We were always told by mu Granddaddy that Randall had a huge home in Tuscaloosa. You are a cousin.

|Elizabeth (Liz) Taylor Allen||Allen Family|
Hi, Randy, I am Wilbur Alllen's wife. He passed away on 13 Feb 2009. I am trying to keep up the work he did on the family. Have found lots of interesting tidbit lately that he would have loved to follow up on. I was just up dating and rechecking the Allen info we had put on Anc.com and found the picture of Winnie Allen Lewis' gravestone. In the write up you did you mentioned that Winnie's mother was Else Clevenger - am I wrong in having it as Elizabeth Coil? Also Wilbur has Abraham as having at least one if not two more children. I would like to hear from you and any finding you have that I don't. I think Wilbur's direct line back to Reuben and Else is now correct and up to date. I have moved to a senior retirement center however my e-mail is the same - MOGA2CA@AOL.COM.

This is all very interesting. I just stumbled on this website. I live in Birmingham and I believe Randall is my Great x 3 or 4 Grandfather on my Grandmother's side. My mother actually has a really cool charcoal portrait of him that I will have to take a picture of and post. I work in Tuscaloosa once a week and drive by Hopewell every time I come into town and finally stopped the other day and looked around. I found the whole family. Some of the tombstones are too old to read and a lot are falling apart. I'm interested in learning more!

Sitchie & Thomas are my 5th great grandparents also. I was happy to see the photo of Sitchie's headstone. I am curious as to what year the photo was taken. My husband & I were in TN in 9/2000 and took a picture of all the stones we could find in that burial ground. At that time Sitchie's stone had a pretty good size tree growing right up against it. We almost didn't find it because of all the overgrowth. I would love to hear that the tree was removed to preserve the stone.
Thanks for sharing your photo!

|Kyle Sutton||Stewart photos|
Hi -- I just fulfilled your photo request for Wm. J. Stewart at the Huson Cemetery in Farmersville, TX. You will notice that his headstone is the same stone as the S.A. Stewart that you had asked about. I also obtained photos for Virgie M. Lanier Stewart (wife of J.N. Stewart), Laura J. Stewart (dau. of W.J. and S.A. Stewart, and John William Stewart. There are memorials for these four in Find A Grave already. If you will enter photo requests for them, I'll be happy to upload the photos.
Hope this helps.

|Jean||Crawford Meriwether/Hattie Brown(e)|
Randy, I have put your narrative of info on Crawford's and Hattie's memorials, and I changed the spelling to Browne. And I linked the two of them. Since you offered more info if anyone wanted it, would you like me to add your e-mail address - or not? Look them over and see if they're OK, and if you want anything else done to them.
