Yep, I grew up in Spring Creek. G.W.'s daughter Lenora was my g-grandmother, her son C.P. Waynick was my grandfather. My mom was Ella Waynick Woolfolk.

The tombstone, btw, belongs to someone whose details and descendants can be found if you Google:
"Our Claybrook Heritage"
click on the link
Go to the DOAK-CLARK section
I'm not yet sure where he fits in NC but you'll be on the mailing list
Best wishes

Hi Adrienne
No egg on your face because:
i. The fault is that of the Doak geneagarbologists who have made such a mess over the years
ii. It wd be a waste of nutrients
More detail re Chas A please - I'm not sure which of James W's sons is the right line for him
Nice to meet you, cousin

Hmm ... John Doak & Mary Foster were married in 1793 (documented by marriage bond)
Their son William's dob is 1795
Any thoughts?
[don't fret, btw - I'm pretty sure we can resolve this]

Nope, very distant cousin by marriage. I am just very picky about accuracy.

DOB inaccurate, both grave stone, metal plaque & Social Security Death index list DOB as Jan 16, 1922, not Jan 22nd as listed on Find-a-Grave.

Rowlett Family Cemetery
I believe I have found a cemetery that appears to be the Rowlett Family Cemetery but is not in the location that is described in the information on the page. I believe that all requested markers are there plus more.

RE: Blackmon
I do not know who her parents were. It is difficult to read her request for a war widows pension She applied for a pension on 7 July 1931. She lived at 131 Dufree (not certain this is the street) Jackson, TN. A Rev. James Blackmon married them. On the application she named A. L. Garrett as a friend and he stated he knew N. B. Key. She gave his address as Court House, Jackson. This is all I hae on her.

I noticed the name Blackmon in one of the postings. My Great grandfather married Emma Leona Blackmon. His name was Napolean Barfield Key. She was his second wife as the first died. They lived in Friendship Tennessee. Emma spent her last days in Jacksin, Tennessee, I think.

Stollenwercks in Birmingham, AL
I visited Oak Hill Cemetery yesterday in search of the grave markers for Maude and Eugene Stollenwerck. Although I was able to confirm their interment at Oak Hill Cemetery I was unable to find an existing or legible grave marker. I did, however, add a Memorial for Antoinette Aimee Stollenwerck Cross. Please let me know if you'd like me to transfer management of this Memorial to you.
