Yes, you were right. The headstone photo proved what you were saying. I have made the corrections. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and your offer to help.

Thank you so much for the photo. I have another request. The Light grave next to him is his daughter I have added her info but if you could get me a better close up picture I would be so grateful.
I believe Gennie died in childbirth. The baby, Hobart also died. He may be buried with her if there is anyway you could find that to. The church must have a record. If I am asking too much of I will understand. Again thanks for what you have done. Janet

Thank you! It's been almost 16 years but still feels like at times like it was yesterday. How do you transfer management? I would be honored to keep track of their memorial.

Hello! I see that you have uploaded the pictures for both memorials. Do you know them personally? I'm just curious. Jessica and I were best friends before her and her mom passed. Her mom and my mom were best friends too. Our families did a lot together. Thanks!

|Mark ||RE: Memorial# 95383690 Eli T Barrett|
The Mary L Barrett is listed in 2 diff census records as his daughter, and as well he had a daughter named Henrietta...they have another sister named Zilpha who married Ezra Andrew Day and they are buried close to that plot. Yes their are a big difference in ages but currently i have no answer for that. His only wife i can find is a Mary Jane Sargent and they were from Lumpkin county Ga. They show up there on the 1880 census. I cannot locate him as of yet on a 1900 census.
Thanks again you've been great!!

First i wanna thanks you for all the pictures you took at Haw Creek Baptist church, i have so many family members buried there its hard to keep up with all of them and the older section makes it worse cause some are marked with field stones or unmarked.
You took the picture of Eli T Barrett's marker, was he buried next to anyone that could have been his spouse?? would like to see a pic if you get back there anytime soon as always im very thankful for your help.

|Jeanie Woods||Flanagan Family|
Thanks you so much for posting the photo's. I notice there were flowers on some of the graves so that leads me to believe some of the family may still be around the area. I would love to get in touch with them...but wouldn't know how to go about doing that. I will check out those places you mentioned and hopefully that will give me new leads. I will certainly come by and pay my respects while in town..I forgot to request a photo of their sisters grave Carrol Perry...if you go back anytime..I will submit a request for a photo of her grave too. You have been so much help and I appreciate more than I can say.

Thanks for letting me know they moved the Flanagan's ...I was planning on an ancestry trip in October so this is important information and will save me time. Thanks so much. When you go to visit the cemetery can you see if they also have a headstone for James Z Flanagan...that was the Father. His body is actually in an unmarked grave in North Georgia...next to his father.

I did go back & review the record for Eden Cemetery in west Frostproof & found a David Rimes & Nettie Rimes. Neither have grave markers, but a on the historial record for internment there.

|R.L. Dease||Columbus Rimes/Photo Request|
I've searched the three cemeteries in Frostproof without luck. The Biscuit Lake Cemetery, north of town, has tons of unmarked graves, some with only a wooden cross & no name, but very few have grave markers. Silver Hill Cemetery, just south of town, doesn't have a grave with his name on it nor does the historical record for the cemetery list him as being there. Eden Cemetery, west of town, does not have a grave marker for him either.
His county of death on the death index for 1928 is listed as Highlands, as Frostproof is Polk County.
The best bet to find out a more info is to order his death cert from the state of Florida at the link below:

Thank you so much for these photos. I am hoping that they will help to solve the mystery of where he died. I know the stone is in real bad shape for William, but were you able to make out any of the death date? I tried enlarging it, but can't make it out. If he died 11 Mar 1865 then he is the William who died at Resaca, Georgia, but if he died 17 Jun 1862 then he is the William who died in Petersburg, Virginia. I believe he is the one who died in Resaca because it is the correct unit for him and that one was from Hall County, Georgia.
Any help you can give me on what the stone says is greatly appreciated, but for the moment I am just thrilled to have the photos.
Thank you so much,
