Malissa T. Garrison Campbell
Hi Nancy,

Malissa was married to a James Campbell which would have been my gggrandfather. No other info on him other than he was believed to have died prior to 1900 is known. He eludes us to this day. Census records shows she was married to him. My line descends from their son James Sailor Campbell. Also, they did have ore children than what you have listed here. Contact me if you'd like the info.

I finally figured out how to check the edits that were accepted/declined. I am such a goof! I misspelled her maiden name. I had Standridge but forgot to add in that N. Sorry for my error!

I'm not sure what edit I had put in for her. I found her brother's obit, though, to show relation.

RE: Mary Violet Wilkins Young
Did you move Mary violet from Wilkins Cemetery to Murphree or did I just look at it wrong to begin with? Anyway, I've put a copy of the death certificate on her memorial. I've never been to the Murphree Cemetery. She is not listed in Hickman County Cemetery Records, Part II as being in that cemetery. Her two sons are buried at Rose Hill in Maury County. I thought maybe she might have been moved there at a later date but no memorial there either.

Mary Violet Wilkins Young
You have placed your memorial #95636220 for Mary V. Wilkins Young at the Wilkins Cemetery, Humphreys Co., Tn. I noticed her death certificate only stated "Only Cem.". Do you know for sure she is buried here?

Ruth Griffin
William S. Oppy
You declined my request to change William S. Oppy's middle name to Shively. If you will access the 1860 Federal Census, you will see that his middle name is indeed Shively. He has a younger brother Samuel included in that Census.

Hoping we can work together on this.

Ruth Griffin,

I think they call it "pre need" for when a spouse's name is on marker w/o DOD. Used to be allowed, not now. Sorry! Don't know how active other contributor is but you might want to contact and share your info.

Tom Curtis
RE: Curtis/Norman cemetery
Nancy, Sorry for not providing more information about this cemetery. The cemetery is located on private property owned by the Norman family in Pike Co., Ms. My great grand father Thomas Simpson Curtis married Mattie Delilah Curtis which is the primary connection between the Curtis and Norman families. Ironically neither is buried in this cemetery. Several of Thomas's siblings are buried there including: Rev. Charles Shadrack Curtis, Elihue Zacahariah Curtis, Martha Adeline Curtis, Richard Washington Curtis. Several years ago Bonnie Cole, placed a marker for the grandfather of these siblings, Richard Curtis, Sr. and his wife Nancy Ann Carter. You sponsored Theodocia Jane Curtis Boggs amongst others.

Curtis/Norman cemetery
Nancy, When Bonnie Cole took me to visit the cemetery over a decade ago most of the grave sites didn't have grave markers. Is there a list of those interned in that cemetery?
