Michael Cotton
RE: Cotton
My Cotton's are a bit chaotic. I think they are mostly from the Lyon County and Princeton KY areas. they moved from Albemarle, Virginia at the time of Littleberry Cotton in the early 1800s. Walter Cotton came from Crakemarsh, England to Surry, Virginia in the late 1600s. But my grandfather moved to Gulfport, Mississippi in the early 1930s, but I have recently been finding cousins and trying to connect with them, but it's not easy (and a lot of people think you're nuts when you just appear from out of nowhere)!

You are entirely welcome. The caretaker said that, maybe in the spring, they will be able to find and uncover their son, Amos, if his stone is covered over with grass.

Patricia Titman at Glendale
She is listed in plot 29 grave 2 in Mt Vernon section. However, I found only a stone for Owens also plot 29 grave 1 at this plot. These seem to be family plots in this area so maybe she is a relation. I will be posting that stone soon, have to download it first from my camera. You can try calling the cemetery and see if they can give you any info on she. The staff there have been wonderful to me when I have had questions. Let me know if you need anything else. Martha

Lucy Ann Elizabeth Burruss Hunt
Hello Ashley, I'm hoping that maybe you can help with info on Lucy A.E. Burruss Hunt in locating her grave. She died I believe in 1862 because T.W. and (3rd) wife, Martha Bryant Hunt's daughter (Mrs. A.O. Holland) has on T.W. Hunt's head stone. A mistake no doubt. I saw that you had gotten some info from Don Shadburn so maybe he may can help in the location of Lucy Burris Hunt's grave. They always lived in Forsyth County so my thinking she was buried there until the Buford Dam Project and many graves were moved...Just hoping ! Thanks, Valerie

Lucy Ann Elizabeth Burruss/ Burris
I noticed the photo of John Henry Burruss that you had posted on his Find A Grave memorial. I was wondering if you may know where Lucy Ann E. B. Hunt may be buried. She was born Va. 1822-23 Married Thomas Winn Hunt b. Ga.1813 May 17,18?? Sorry drew a blank. I have the info on the marriage in my files but not at hand. Lucy Ann E. was a sister of John H. Burruss/Burris. I so much enjoyed the picture.I thank you in advance for any info or pics that you may share with me. Thomas Winn and Lucy A.E. Hunt were my Great Great Grandparents. I descend from their son Henry Thomas Hunt b.1845 Ga.

Eva Brines @ Balfour
You're welcome - my pleasure - I know Eva must be buried next to her husband Rubin Brines in the unmarked areas betw the Brines Family. What a sweet little cemetery with lavender phlox flowering all over the ground and dogwoods in the woods.

Brines Family
Hi Ashley - This might not be anything, but I just added profile/photo of James & Anna Brines at Oaklawn Cemetery in Algonac, St. Clair Co, Mich. I see you had a Brines request at Balfour so might be family ? If not, worth mentioning just in case - same timeframe.
