John Fazenbaker
RE: Michael Shonsky

Sorry he just doesn't have a marker. I've been there several times and searched every time but couldn't locate a marker.

He isn't listed in the St Gabriel church records.

Good luck searching....John

Maitland Lederer
Mary Sharpe (Germany)

Your information on Sarah Maitland Cadden (nee Sharpe) has been very helpful to me -- she's my great great grandmother. Being a Maitland myself, I've been trying to trace the name back, but I always hit a wall when I get to Sarah Maitland Cadden. I was wondering if you'd been able to find any information on her mother, Mary Sharpe, who immigrated from Germany. I believe this is her grave:

Thanks in advance!

Glen Haven Cemetary
I can fulfill your request for Glen Haven Cemetary in Glen Burnie Md, however I would need the location information. The office is impossible to work with on a "walk in " basis. If you get the information please email me and I can do it this weekend.

RE: overdue thank you
I remember that grave, your Duvall cousin helped me find the grave. While I was down there for his other cousins funeral, Dorothy Nutt, actually a mutual cousin. You are welcome glad I could be of help.

Pamela Myers-Grewell
Manly Morse - Noble Co., OH
Noticed your photo request for his wife, Mary. You'd duplicated my previous memorial, and since only one memorial per person is permitted, I deleted mine and added the photos to yours. His stone has one overturned in front of it, I would assume is Mary's. I've added that photo to her memorial, but was unable to find anything that gave identifiable information.

Re: Manly Morse #38646058
Wondering if you would add another one of Manly's sons: Madison Rice Morse, born 26 SEP 1809 in Lower Salem, Wash., OH, and died 21 OCT 1889 in Lower Salem, Wash., OH.

I do not know where Madison is buried, but he died in Lower Salem, OH. Hoping I will be able to determine where he is buried.

Madison is my Great Great Grandfather.

Thank you.

Carle - OH
I was looking at your surnames and noticed Carle. Are you researching the Carle's of Pickaway County? I was doing some Carle research for an acquaintance who has since moved away. If you haven't gotten very far on that line, maybe I can help. You can email me: margie_s43119 at the yahoo thingy. Dianne

RE: Duvall
Thank you but I am not really related. I would probably just get into another family and start finding things. It is so adicting.
Leland's mother Lela was a sister to my Aunt Fern Nutt Uncle Grover's wife. and Grover Jr. mother so he and Leland are first cousins on their mothers side. I am Grover's cousin on our fathers side. kind of like that gospel song "On My Father's Side" If I can find any more for you let me know. I did take photos of Leland's parents grave,it is on the site also,

Added by June on Jun 22, 2010 9:56 PM

I went to Waverly for the service of Dorothy Nutt, wife of Grover. He is my Dad's cousin as well as a cousin of Leland Duvall, I knew Leland would be there so I ask him if he knew where the stones were. He did and took me over to them. He said he decorated them at memorial day. Also said he works genealogy with you and to be sure to say HI. I was trying to talk him into joining Find-A-Grave. Mary thinks it would be great for him.

RE: Pictures

I believe I noted this error when I uploaded Sadie's picture for you. You corrected the error as soon as I mentioned it. I believe you had her husband listed as being buried in Vernon County. The link on your memorial is correct; her husband is buried with her. You are welcome.

I found the Thoma stones that you requested. They're actually located in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. St. Joseph's and St. Paul's are located right next to each other, so it looks like some were listed under St. Paul's by accident. If you have control over the listing, you can move them over, otherwise I would contact the original contributor to have them move it over. Here is the St. Joseph's link:

Hofschulte St. Mary's Bellchester
I forgot to add the close up photo for Herman. The memorial looks much better, I think.

I posted the grave pictures for Sadie Chapman. I noticed the link to her her husband, Alva is incorrect. It lists him in Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Vernon County, WI.
