Hi Kay,
I would like to once again, thank you for visiting several of the memorials in my Angels in Need of Flowers virtual cemetery. I am starting to change out the names more frequently since a lot more people are starting to visit them.

Our connection is via James Herod (1765-1856). Brothers James William Herod (1804-1875 and Josiah Herod (1807-1860). Josiah is my 3rd Great Grandfather. See you live in same city I work in FTW.

My grandmother was Mrytle's youngest sister born in 1908. Stella Brogdon Thompson is buried in Garden of Memories in Paducah, Tx. Peter H Brogdon was her grandfather.

Good Morning Kay: You're very welcome, it was a pleasure for me visiting your husband and your parent's memorials and will continue to do so. Yes, although my dad was very proud of having served our country, he didn't want my brother to have to face the horrors of war. Although I was very young (not even in school yet), I remember that awful morning my brother left for Vietnam. I guess it represents my first memory of a really sad, sad day. Also, thank you for visiting my loved ones, that was very kind of you dear. Be well and God bless you sweetie!
