RE: Riley George Medlin
It would be great if you can locate the funeral home marker. You could add it to his memorial. If you want, I can email you photos of the Medlin markers at Verden cemetery that I have.

RE: Riley George Medlin
Sue, when I asked if you had photos, I was referring to the Medlin grave marker photos at Verden cemetery.

Since I'm not related, I wouldn't be interested in Medlin portrait photos.

RE: Riley George Medlin
Sue, I'd like nothing better than to get you a photo of Riley's marker, but I'm afraid his marker is lost, engulfed by the cedar tree. Four years ago I crawled under the tree and raked piles of needles, leaves and other trash away and could never find any sign of a marker. Now, old age is catching up and I'm no longer able to crawl around like that. I'd say the tree would have to be taken down before any kind of marker could be placed, as the branch's has spread so wide it covers all of the Medlin graves.

Do you have photos of the other Medlin's?

RE: Mary Medlin Deal
The memorial # you sent me was to Jane Medlin's memorial. Mary Medlin Deal already has a photo of her headstone. Find a grave is currently maintaining Mary Medlin Deal's memorial. Mary's brother Ace Benjamin is my great great grandpa.

I didn't create the memorial for Benjamin, but I sent the information on to Larry Medlin who is responsible for this one.
Hope he will take care of it.

( Pam & Teresa ) Pamala Metzger Gammill&T
Rains Family
Dear Sue,
I, by blood, and Pam, by marriage, are related to the Rains Family. My great, great, great grandfather was John Shagline Rains. He and John Warren were the first white settlers to settle this area of Choctaw County that is now Antioch Community. John Rains' daughter, Elizabeth Caroline, married Jacob Wilson Gammill from whom all we here at Antioch have descended. The Indians were driven out and the land was surveyed in 1836. John Shagline arrived here around 1838. My dad lives on the hill where he settled. Most of the info that we have about our family was researched by Pam's father-in-law, Glenn Gammill. Please let us know how you are related to the Rains family. It's good to hear from a possible "cousin".

Sue if they are my memorials, maybe so. But I will need the memorial #'s to do so. Wait until next week to send , this computer is going in the shop again today.

RE: James Riley Phillips
Sue who ever has the memorial, you can send a request to have it transferred to you, if it is within Find a grave guidelines.

Just click on the edit tab at the right hand corner of the memorial and another box will come up, it will give you a list of options to choose from, I think it is the 4th or 5th one, it has been so long since I have used it for a transfer. Then type in your request it will go to the person who has it, and will have all the info as needed as far as id #'s.

Roberts girl
I noticed a message to another member about the Caldwell Zimmerman family. Years ago there was a Zimmerman family in Meridian, ID, with a daughter named Michelle. Would this be the same family?

RE: William L. Robinson
The easiest way is for you to send me the number.

If you want to do it yourself, you can use the "edit" button on the upper right hand corner of the front page of the memorial. One of the options it gives you is "Relationship". Click on that, and it will give you a place to insert her number and wedding year, if known.

RE: Stella & Lucie
Sue, Under the edit is a Other suggestions, etc. You can go to it and ask if they will transfer to you, tell them the relationship you have with the person, like grandparent, uncle, aunt or whatever. Give then your #47092262. They don't have to transfer if you aren't a direct relative, but a lot will if they aren't related closer then you are. :) Good luck! Luella p.s. This is also a way you may get to talk to other family members & get more information!

RE: Stella & Lucie
Sue, Now for the cremation: Look on the left hand side of this page, there is a list of things you can do. #4 is Add Burial Records, click it and then click the Family and Friends box. Put in the name, dates etc of the person just like you did for Lucie. Then there is a blue dot, click the spot under it that has OTHER (cremation)) Then click the PROCEED STEP 2. I'm not sure what is on the next step, but I think you just need to click at the bottom like you did before. Luella

RE: Stella & Lucie
Sue, Go to Lucie's memorial, on the left side is Family Links EDIT
CLICK THAT, There is a spot for Father, Mother and Spouse. Put 108108464 in the father spot and 108108481 in the mother spot! There is a blue spot on the bottom with "Save Changes" if I remember right! Then they will be listed as her parents! You can just click on the name then and it goes right to their page! Luella

RE: Stella & Lucie
Sue, I was happy I found them, but never found the parents, it was a big lot with only the four stones, so they nay not have markers. It was the first time in this cemetery, so can miss them when you're not sure how they are marked. Luella p.s. Did you link Lucie with her parents? If you need help let me know.
