Gardner Cemetery
Hi,

I see that you took photos of this cemetery. Can you let me know where this is actually located? Street, GPS Coordinates if possible.

Thanks

Duplicate Cemeteries
Lorry,

You posted cemetery photos to two cemeteries:
Hutchins Farm
Friends Meeting House

Both are in White Creek, Washington, NY.

And people have been posting duplicate burials to the cemeteries. Every person who is in the Hutchins Cemetery is also in the Friends Meeting House.

So, I suspect that this is one and the same cemetery, and that the name has been changed. Before I report the duplication to Find-a-grave, will you please get back to me, as you have cemetery photos in both places.

Thank you,

Janet Muff

Jared Sage Sr & Jr Family
Lorry, Thank you for transferring the management of the memorials you created for Jared Sage Sr & Jr, Olive H. [Clark] Sage, and Eliza [Parsons] Sage. I have been traveling with sporadic Internet for the past two months so have only recently been able to access "Find A Grave". The transfer is greatly appreciated and I will take good care of your memorials. Regards, Linne

Ichabod West and Susannah
Thanks very much for getting pictures of Ichabod and Susannah's stones. We think it is amazing now when people live way into their 90s, and here this couple did 200 years ago. He is a very distant uncle of mine. Thanks again for all you do.

RE: JACOB M DEYOE
OK, Apr 15, 1839 it is.

The DOB was calculated from the DOD based on the 15 months so I have have adjusted that to 1838.

Thanks
Jeff

RE: JACOB M DEYOE
Hi:

Cemetery records have him as:
Name: Jacob M Deyoe
Death: 15 Apr 1839

Find A Grave entry has him as 15 Apr 1937.

Are you sure of the DOD date?

Thanks
Jeff

Could you go back and take another picture of his headstone? Try pouring water on it and see if the words pop out. Could you then send a copy to me? Railroad white chalk will not sure the stone in any way, so you could also try that. That is if the cemetery will let you. Water is safe since it rains often on these headstones.
Sincerely,
Shirley

RE: West Jamaica Cemetery
Hi Lorry,
Thanks for the quick reply. I had taken a quick look for Lewis & Sally Bills without perusing the rest of the cemetery.....I know better. Apparently, your pics of Lewis & Sally were not supposed to be posted yet? LOL The additional information on other Bills & Sage's are very helpful even if they are not part of y immediate family.
One possible correction? You have Abbie Sage as having died 28 Sept. 1859 when I believe it should be 28 Sept. 1879.

Thanks again for doing this work & replying to my query!! If you ever get back & get Lewis & Sally please let me know.

Best Regards,
Mason

Sarah Greenman Maxson
Hi, Thanks for posting the photo on the Stillman Village Cem for Sarah Greenman Maxson but it's actually the wrong Sarah Maxson. The photo you posted was of Sarah Read wife of Asa Maxson who died the same year as Sarah Greenman Maxson, 1853. Can I get you to do me a favor and remove the photo as it's the wrong one?? Thanks. - Jennifer

Capt Leonard Spaulding
Dear Lorry,
I want to Thank You so much for the photos of my Ancestor Capt. Leonard Spaulding !!!

It is interesting to know that alot of people did not know where he was buried. I found him there in 1993, but at that time I didn't have a digital camera & actually had lost him @ another cemetery, I mean the film. So I am very greatful that you were so kind to take the photo for me.

Have a wonderful summer.

Sincerely, Laurie
