|Beverly Belcher Woody||Harriett Richards|
I have a photo of the marker of Harriett Richards that is buried in the Woody-Richards cemetery. She passed away in 1922. I don't see a photo request for her, but do you want that photo?

Thanks Harold for responding to my note; I was concerned that all was well with the two of you. I know you were such a good friend to Jeanne & I was concerned because you left FB so suddenly. Glad to hear all is well. You don't have to respond to this one. Linda

|Carlene Steel||RE: Arena|
I just checked my family tree index, & I have a few Richards that are actually connected to my husband's line. John G. or L. Richards m. to Nellie Woolam MacIntosh. Their son John Leeman Richards Jr. (1897-1939) married Louie "Christine" Parker, a 1st cousin of my husband.
John Leeman was b. in New Haven, Connecticut, & d. in Bowie, MD.
Are they any of "your" Richards?
I also have in my family line, Frank A. Richards, b. 1879- d.1932, buried in Columbia, Boone, MO. He married a 4th cousin 3x removed - Mary Albina "Bina" Hutsell in 1919.
That's all the connection to any Richards.

Thank you Harold. That would be great, I would gladly oversee her memorial. I take it then you are not descended from she & her husband?
Thank you so much for placing her memorial on Find A Grave. It was from that that I was able to connect some "missing" dots. Thank you! Carlene

It looks like you had every Kelly but Charles. I transferred him to you so that you could keep him in the family and add your personal touches. He is not related to me. Thanks for working with Find A Grave. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to help others.

You are quite welcome, Harold. No worries -- no search is "unfruitful" -- it's all about the journey, not the final destination. Keep searching! Best regards, Jan

Thanks for the transfer offer, but I've yet to learn all the in's and out's of this site. I can search and send information but that's about as far as I've gotten. If I ever learn, I'll let you know.

|Lyn Smith||Susanna Asfordby Beatty|
Your Find a Grave posting came up as a hint on my tree, so being as Susanna Asfordby was my 7th great grandmother, I thought I'd let you know who her parents were.
I've done extensive research into my family and my membership with ancestry.com (since just a few years ago) has helped me a lot. With the help of fellow researchers and this computer age, I've learned all kinds of ways to look into my lineage.
Anyway, Susanna was third and first surviving child of William Asfordby 1638-1698 and Martha Burton 1634-1711, both of Lincolnshire, England. They were married in England and arrived in Ulster County, New York about 1674. I have yet to locate any Asfordby's buried in Ulster County. Susanna had five siblings that I know of. Two died in infancy, two in late twenties and one lived to be 63 years old.
Susanna's marriage license was issued 7 November, 1691. She was joint heir of her husband. As you are aware she died in Frederick County, Maryland, where her will, made 20 June, 1742, was proved 30 October, 1745. She married John Beatty of Kingston and Marbletown, Ulster County, New York, who was returned for Sheriff of Ulster County, was Trustee of Marbletown, and Deputy Surveyor of the Province of New York. His will, made 26 April, 1720, was proved 9 March, 1721.
She and John Beatty had ten children.
