I have posted a photo of her marker. I have submitted edits for place and date of birth as well as death. This will automatically fix itself after 21 days if the contributor does not do it herself. This is a new function of Find A Grave which makes like a lot easier. Bruce

His brother was cleaning the cemetery when I went there and put me right on his marker. He worked a trade with cleaning for a plot.

Thanks for trying, do you think the owner would let me look on his property for the graves? Judging from the photos I think it may be overgrown but I would really like to find the Albert Brown tombstone.

Hi! Thanks for the links to his parents! I've added them to his memorial. If you are in any way related I'll be glad to transfer him to your care. I'm not related at all ... just snapped his photo when I was looking for another stone. Take care! Dana

Not sure if I can help you out on this request. I don't live near the OBX. I visited Portsmouth after vacationing on Ocracoke and tracking family members on that island. Is South Creek on Portsmouth or on the mainland? I may not be back on Ocracoke for more than a year. If I return, then I might go back to Portsmouth to get the 3-4 cemeteries I originally missed. Still unsure when I'll return.

Mixed news here. I found nothing in the Sunpapers about his death. Maryland Archives death index shows he died 2/17/1934 certificate number E98595. You might want to make a trip to the Archives and obtain a free copy.

|MSue||RE: Houston A Wilkinson mother?|
I went to the genealogy society office today and found an obit for Beulah. It stated that she was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. I walked and photoed all the gravestones I could find. Some are covered with shrubs etc and not readable.
I have entered the obit info and your data on husbands on a memorial
I will transfer the memorials if you will use the EDIT button on the right hand top of memorial page and ask for transfer.
