RE: Mallon pic
You are welcome. You also gave me a new project; I found that almost every headstone has never been photographed and that excites me. I like to find out of the way cemeteries and photograph them.

Funny note: the Mallons were on the top row and they were about 5 high. There was this really tall ladder in there so I climbed inside it and carried it down to the other end of the building, then climbed up it to get the picture. I'm sure I looked pretty funny. There were flowers in front so I had to carry them down and back up so I could take the pictures of Francis & Doris. What we do for a picture! ha

RE: Leroy Guthrie

If you double click on the document, it will make it larger and you'll also be able to read the caption. You can double click on most pictures on Find A Grave to enlarge them, and that's the only way you can ever see if they have a caption.

When I originally added the letter, I thought it might be too hard to read for those with small screens, so I re-typed everything in the letter and put it in the caption. I did the same for some of the other documents I added for a few of his relatives.

Leroy Guthrie was related to some Guthries in Calhoun County, Illinois that I was researching, but I am not from his direct line. Since I came across the information on him while doing my research, I wanted to share it. That's why I added the letter to his memorial and others to his wife's memorial.

Hope this helps!

James Frederick Mallon
Hi, Hi just linked James Mallon (Find A Grave #41525035) to his parents George and Mary Thompson Mallon. He is married into my Chatfield line. Thought you might like to see his page. I met his daughter Neva just before she died, and am in touch with his granddaughter. Thanks, Catherine
