Thanks so much. I don't really use facebook but I sent her a message. Her dad and I are 3rd cousins 1x removed so I believe that makes her and I 3rd cousins.
It is really great meeting new family members.

Fantastic, I was hoping I was right. Do you know if Harvey had any siblings? As of right now I believe he had at least 2 brothers Robert Ray and Bobby Gene. What I know as a fact is all of his half siblings.
Do you mind if I copy the photo you have posted of your aunt Bobbie for my tree?
Thanks so much,

I noticed the memorial that you have for Bobbie Joyce Markham Clinton. Information that I have found leads me to believe that her husband is my relative. I was wondering if you could confirm for me if his parents were William Harvey Clinton and Carrie Christine Ferrell.

No that is not what I mean.. It is for those people who 'think they maybe related', those who have the same surname.
If you are related and wish for a transfer then please send your request thru the edit tab on the memorial..

Hi, Julia. No, I am not related to this couple, and I wish I could recall who asked for the photograph so that I could put you in touch :(
I would be glad to transfer them to you. Hope to be of assistance.

I have checked for my source of death for Nancy Emaline Martin. I was a family tree item. Although the source did not know of her marriage to Gibson Royle Alexander, it looks reliable.

The date of birth came from the following source:
BIBLE: The T.G. ALEXANDER Family Bible contains the following information -
T.G. ALEXANDER's father was G.R. (Gipson Royle) ALEXANDER born June 9, 1823, died 1910. His mother was E.M. (Emaline) MARTIAN born December 3, 1826, died 1903. Margaret Jane MARTIN's father was Joseph S. MARTIN born December 30, 1822, died April 21, 1881. Her mother was Nancy E. RORIE born April 1822. T.G. ALEXANDER and M.J. MARTIN were married July 22, 1869.
I can not locate where I got the exacct date of death. Morris

Hallelujah! That tangled web was taken care of fairly quickly, with the separation of the two bios. Your cousin Brian was quite helpful. Now, the other man with the same name still needs a tiny bit of work, but your ancestral grandfather is all squared away. You might be able to find additional details of the last few years of his life in old local newspapers serving Fulton Co., Indiana. You might also find something in an estate settlement or a land transaction.

|Brian Winter||Corrected George Fish memorial|
Hello again, Julia,
Now that I have corrected the George Fish memorial so that he is not confused with Sgt. George M Fish #3283637, please link Emma to her father's memorial #75125416. Thank you.

I have deleted my duplicate memorial for Emma Fish, and am working to correct all the George Fish info. Please delete just the one line in the bio for Emma that refers to her father having served in the Civil War. Thank you.

The town ran notices in the newspaper at the time informing everyone of their intentions and giving families who wanted to move their loved ones to another cemetery a chance to do so. Some were moved, most I think were not and the graves were left where they were. Only the headstones were removed. A reading of the cemetery was done years before the stones were removed and that information is at the county museum. I don't know if they have a list of the graves that were moved though.
