RE: clark tilman
do you have online access to the cemetery records of tuscarawas county?? and would you share that with me? I just walk the cemetery,as I live 10 miles away...if I had a database to refer to where these people are buried would be nice....and Tilman Clark is buried in Nashville National....he has a memorial here on findagrave, white military marker....thanks,Sharyn

I think maybe there is a memorial for Tilman Clark,I photographed his wife Margaret's marker. He is actually buried at a National Cemetery...

Odom Cemetery in Toombs, GA
Hi - I am wondering if you recall if the Odom Cemetery is a very small one and if it did have about 10 other people in it - mostly Odoms and their children. I have photos of it my friend took 20 years ago and I don't know if this is the same place or not. Thanks!

RE: Worthington
John you have to read the book closer, It states his dates, 1824- 7 Jan 1918, I have a copy of his death certificate. The book has many misprints in it.

Thanks

RE: Joseph M. Bowen
Hi John,
Sorry I haven't had much time for family research or findagrave lately so I just got your message from over a year ago. Joseph M. Bowen is my great grandfather. I am the granddaughter of Orris Willard Bowen.

Have a great day,
Darcie

Hi John
Would it be possible to tie Clara Luke to my grandfather's memorial? She was his mother. His father Charles is already listed...and it would be nice to have his mama there too.

Thanks Cousin!!

Hello John,

I don't have much on his wife, except their marriage date, their children & the name of her parents. Do you have any information on them? Let me know if you need any information on this.

Oden Umholtz
John,

In a previous message, you asked me about Oden Umhultz. He is listed in the cemetery records for Grove Cemetery in Pike Township, Stark County (buried 8/20/1956). I went back to Grove today to see if I could find his stone, even though I've taken pictures of every stone in this small cemetery before. The cemetery records indicate where he is buried and I looked there but there is no stone in that vicinity. I also walked the entire cemetery again (it's very small) and was not able to find his stone.

My best theory is that he is buried there but no one ever put up a tombstone for him.

Regards,
Ed Rowlance

John - Yes - look up "Kennedy Cemetery" and you'll see what I was talking about.

RE: David W. Kennedy
One is "Kennedy ('s) Church Cem" and the other must just be Kennedy Cemetary. I'll look it up, but if you go to "all Kennedy's in Tusc. Co" - you'll see it.
I'll look now.

I understand, but I believe there are two Kennedy cemetaries listed - they should be merged.

Milton Exton Page Correction
The cemetery for Milton Page should be changed to the Union Cemetery in Tuscarawas county, as opposed to Washington county. Thanks for adding and managing Milton's record.

RE: Umholtz
John,

Mellie or Millie is listed twice in West Lawn cemetery here in Stark county (memorials 36994782 and 90695536. The first one has a bit of an obituary for her that lists Oden as a surviving husband but there is no link to the memorial for Oden. The second one gives a location for Millie's gravestone but it would seem that if Oden was buried near her, that stone would also be on the findagrave site for West Lawn.

The Umholtz's I added to findagrave are all at Grove Cemetery and I added every readable stone from Grove. I have the burial records for Grove and Oden is listed as being buried there on 8/20/1956 (age 69). I looked through the pictures I have and none of them with unreadable stones seems to be Oden's stone. However the burial records give an approximate location so I'll put it on my list to go back to Grove and see if I can locate Oden's stone based on this information.

Regards,
Ed Rowlance
