|Irma Lommen - Salden||Dimmers Family|
want to send you a correction on the name Dimmers.
I don't know where you found this but the original spelling was Timmers, became Tummers and became Timmers again for the family that immigrated to America. Over here in the Netherlands most of the descendants of Göbel Timmers, Jan Timmers oder (or) Muhljans sohn (Göbel the son of Jan Timmers, the last one also called Muhljan).
So I hope you will be able to change the names Dimmers into Timmers.

I forgot to mention that the Houses are mentioned many times in Annie Coulthard Downey's history. :-)

|Molly H.||House Family history|
I noticed that you left flowers on a House family memorial, so I took a look at your profile and saw that you are seeking info on the House family. (What terrible luck about your computer crash!!)
Do you have a copy of Annie Coulthard Downey's 'Coulthard and Eddie family history?' I am descended from both families. The Coulthards and Eddies were very close to the House family, both in Ontario, Canada and in Harrison County, Iowa, and I know that some of them stopped and stayed in Minnesota on the trip from Canada to Iowa. The Coulthards and the Eddies have at least a couple of intermarriages with the House family. My great great great aunt Jennett Eddie married a House and they are buried in Oak Grove cemetery in Harrison County, Iowa.
Also, my grandmother's cousin Elizabeth Coulthard married James House, and they are buried in Oakland Cemetery in Strathburn, Ontario, Canada, memorial number 153109302.
If you message me, we can find a way to exchange emails and I will send you a copy of Coulthard/Eddie family history, because it has quite a bit about the House family in it, too.
There is also a book called "From Nairn to Ekfrid and Beyond" by Blake McGill, which is the history of the Eddie family. Unfortunately I don't know how to get a copy of the book right now, but someone sent me photocopies of each page, which is rather cumbersome to try to deal with. But I'm sure there is House family information in there, too.
Let me know if you are interested. The Houses must have come from Scotland as well?

|icyndan||Regina Anna Peters|
I was hoping you could help me clarify something about Regina. I was wondering where you got your information about her being a Peters, when everything I have found makes her a Dircks.
I have found 2 Regina's born in Minnesota in 1878 but in two different counties. One in Carver County (2 January) and the other in Scott (24 March).
I believe the one in Carver County (Dircks) is the one that married Fred Born also of Carver County.
If you can help me out with something to prove this one way or the other, I'd be grateful.

I wanted to let you know that Robert Schommer is not in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Vermillion. His funeral was out of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage, so he may be buried there. I am the parish administrator for St. John in Vermillion and I verified he is not buried in our cemetery.

I may be able to help you with tracking your mother's family. Apparently we are both descendants of Andreas and Eva Scherer. I have been researching the family for about 20 years and published a family history of Henry & Agatha Scherer last year. I have a fair amount of information on his brother Simon's family which should include you.
If you'd like to exchange information please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org

|jonathan house||house family|
sorry it took so long to get back to you. I had some time off this week and did some more research.
I found that james hazard house had been married twice, moved to iowa, then to Nebraska, where he died......which is in the findagrave info.
there were two Conrad houses who could have been his father in NY. one was born in may 1796. but the trail dropped between them. the other Conrad I found was born june 6, 1786, married betsy hazard, whom I would assume is james mother. they lived in Oswego county, buried in bidwell cemetery.
Conrad's father was George house III, b. 19 apr 1775 in NY. 26 oct 1794 married Catharine kilts in palatine, Montgomery ny.
his father was johann George house II, baptized 8 nov 1737. then it gets really german from there, with names changes fro haus, etc.
I found that info on hausgenealogy.com
I also found more at http://home.uchicago.edu/-lhouse/newsite/familyhistory.html. this did not have the exact it links well to the other site.

|Mini||RE: Dale/Rice Cemetery|
Bev Kroschel prepared the book about the cemetery. She said there is a copy at the Ramsey County Library at Hamline and County Road B. A copy is also available at the Roseville Historical Society at 1710 N. Lexington Ave (http://mnrhs.tripod.com/). The Historical Society office in the rear of the Fire Station. The door is clearly marked. Bev helped me find my aunt's burial spot - there was no marker for her though I did have one put in there to mark her plot and resting place. Also, the historical society knows who to contact about getting permission to install a grave marker.
Additional information about Dale/Rice and a short bio there: http://www.parkbooks.com/MnGenWeb/cem.html

I wont have time for a couple of days as am moving.
Always nice to hear about other families and how we are related.
talk to you soon. ma

|Betty Jane (Taszreak) Davies||RE: Alonzo & Marie House|
I've deleted the memorials that I created and uploaded the headstone photos to your memorials. I this that there may possibly be additional House's buried in the Dugway cemetery. The next time that I'm out that way I'll stop and take a look and photo the headstones. I want to say that they are in the same area as Marie and Alonzo's. Oh, I did notice that Alonzo's middle initial was C.
