I cannot for the life of me find the West-Box cemetery where Williston Hollis Lane is buried. I had pretty good direction from someone but spent the afternoon criss-crossing the area with no luck. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Maureen,
I have a lot of those too. No idea where it came from. I have been researching for about 15 years so there are lots of lines in my data that were families of distant cousins I got in contact with over the years.

Fun but sometimes people are a little creeped out by finding someone they are related to in my database and I can't tell them instantly how we are related.

I took a photo of Henry Azbell and Verna Azbell graves recently. I also noticed nearby another Azbell memorial. Marianne Elizabeth Azbell b. 7 Dec 1959 d. 14 Jun 2003 is also buried in Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale AZ in Section 15. I would be glad to send you a copy of the photo if you are interested.

Maureen, what a great photo! Someone just reported they could not find his plot at the cemetery there. Paperwork says that's where he is, though! We'll compare notes, if you'd like to browse my tree on Ancestry.

Find A Grave Memorial# 33400635. Sorry to bug you again, but his Death Certificate is online at and you can download that information. His full name is Allie Morgan Davenport.

You can link the children to the parent at FindaGrave and this probably should be done. Will be much easier for you to manage and for relatives to find their loved ones. My Best to you. Good Work. Debbie Woods

Maggie Amanda [Haggard] Davenport

Your Find A Grave Memorial #34099268 reference the Death Certificate for Maggie Amanda [Haggard] Davenport. The Burial Date: 24 Jul 1949 is also provided on that Death Certficate which can be viewed online at Note that on the Death Certficate for her son, Allie M. Davenport the spelling of the name of his mother, which would be Maggie Amanda Davenport's maiden name is HOGGARD. I am finding at ancestry that most of the trees related are using the spelling HOGGARD rather than HAGGARD. I am not related, just doing research for my daughter-in-law who through marriage to one of the Davenport children links into her family...distantly. I am trying to find information on the Walkup Family. Martha Evada [Gray/Grey] Walkup had a daughter who married a Davenport of this family. My daughter-in-law's relation is through the Gray/Grey. I believe that Martha is a sister to her ggreat-grandmother Elizabeth "Bessie" Grey who married Spencer Clifford Smith. They lived in Texas and their first three children were born in Plainveiw, Hale County and then they moved on to New Mexico. I have been searching for 3 years for a marriage record for then and for her sister Martha Evada Grey who married James Robert (J.R.) Walkup. I am ending up looking in lost limbs and branches for any information. If you are related directly to the Davenport family then perhaps you know which spelling HAGGARD or HOGGARD is correct. I got your message about the burial and changed the information, thanks for reminding me about that. Don't worry about pine needles the stone is still readable that's what counts. Have fun taking more pics.
