Thanks Mike. That marker had most of the ones under the Durgee name but Laurence wasn't on Find A Grave so I made a new posting for him. I can transfer the maintenance of it to you if you like.

RE: A.E. Lorenzo Beahm
I am sorry that I could not locate his memorial. I did find his parents, a sibling, etc.

I may try to check with the church, if possible.

Amos Doty
Hi, I went to fulfill the request for headstone on Amos Doty at West Amboy Cemetery. There is no one there by that last name. The caretaker referred to his records and found that a "Doty" was buried in Amboy Center Cemetery. I went there to see what I could find - but was unable to find stone. I just did a search and this is what is listed for Doty at the Amboy Cemetery "broken unreadable stones
Doty, Emily wife of Amos d. 5 Feb. 1885 AE 72 yrs." Hope this helps somewhat. Also when I was speaking with the caretaker at West Amboy Cemetery he believed that he had some pictures of a Doty that had been submitted to the historical society. He has my contact information and if he does indeed have info I will contact you.

You're welcome Mike. I"m happy I could help. It's a shame that the stone is broken. I hope the town will fix it because if they don't, nobody probably will...

Re: Guido Biondi
You're welcome!
By the way, I went out to Benezette Cemetery to search again for Dora English but couldn't find her there. My next step is to head out to Hicks Run Cemetery to check there.

I did find Sarah McCormick at the Benezette Cemetery though! I remember you asked about her a while ago. I've uploaded her picture (#42465990).

RE: Benezette Cemetery
I photographed Hicks Run Cemetery too, but there are quite a few stones that are unreadable or are simply a flat rock without any writing. But now that I know who her first husband was, I can take a closer look around that monument to see if maybe Dora is there. I can't tell from my pictures if there is writing on the 3 other sides of Carey's monument. If there is, it's very faded. I'll see what I can find at both of these cemeteries.

RE: Benezette Cemetery
I checked my photos again and I didn't see one for Dora. I plan on going back to the cemetery soon so I'll try again to find it. Is she for sure buried in the Benezette Cemetery? I see on her death certificate that it says the place of burial is Hicks Run, but I know that the certificates aren't always 100% accurate.

RE: Dora T English
Hi Mike,

Unfortunately my friend doesn't get down to Elk County too often.
Maybe asking one of the volunteers who has taken picture in Benezette might work?

Lillian Clinedinst
Clinedinst Family
I was researching my family tree and noticed your comments on Isaac Clinedinst-Lydia Ann Hollar
I am Lillian (Clinedinst) Gingrich. My father is William G. Clinedinst 1914-2008. Son of Robert Jackson Clinedinst 1880-1947 Mount Jackson VA. His father is David C Clinedinst 1835-1925 married Elizabeth E Newland.
Davids father Isaac Clinedinst b. 13 Aug. 1790 married Lydia Ann Hollar. His father is Michael Clinedinst b. 1783 York PA married to Elizabeth Hoffman.
His father was Johann David KIeindienst, 7 Feb. 1725, d. 13 Feb 1798. Auenstein, Germany, lived in York PA married Magdalena b. Abt.1731 d. Aft. 1798, York PA
We are having problems with Robert J Clinedinst. son of David and Elizabeth Newland records show she had no childred, His death Certificate show his mother as Margeurite Richards. Mount Jackson Cementery show him to be the son of David and Mae Clinedinst. He must of had three mothers.

Any help you can give will be appreciated. I hope this info helps you.
Lillian Gingrich
