|Darren Tanke||Charles Colwell|
Looks like we have a mutual interest in the Charles and Janette Colwell's (nee Davidson)of Pecos, TX and Fresno, CA. I am researching and writing the biography of their daughter Jane Colwell-Danis(1941-), a very interesting person. I worked with her 1979-1991 and have face-to-face contact with her regularly. I have other Colwell family information that may be of interest to you and perhaps you have some I can use for the biography I am writing on Jane. I wrote a small piece on her here: http://trowelblazers.com/jane-colwell-danis/
Under Charles C Colwell (died 1972), I can confirm your calculated relationship of Charles Frederick Colwell (1939-1939) is indeed true and their is another living daughter too. Please contact me!

|James Jacobsen||Frank Hartman|
I am a mercenary historian working here in Iowa.
I am finalizing a history of 923 Main (a building that was built in 1917 by FH and which housed his monument company) and this covers Frank Hartman in whom you have had an interest-the part one document will minimally be shared with Dorrie at the library-my main point is that Hartman's wealth came from a broader successful business and not from the Spanish Flu period alone.

|LEH||Eliza Jane Phillips Anderson Camp|
I've read the writeup for Eliza Camp and it's quite extensive, nice job, except the marriage dates are incorrect.
There is one problem, Eliza Jane Phillips Anderson Camp died March 20, 1927 and was never buried in this cemetery. The memorial wall lists Eliza Whitcomb Camp born 1836 and died 1912, obviously the wrong Eliza Camp. The subject Eliza J. Camp was cremated at Hollywood Crematory (Now Hollywood Forever Crematory) March 22, 1927 and the ashes were removed May 15, 1927.
How can this be corrected?

|Daniel Kaiser||Paul Harding|
I wanted first of all to thank you for the photos of Paul Harding and his parents, Frank and Ida Harding, that I am borrowing from your findagrave posts. I author an occasional blog about Grinnell history, and am presently completing one devoted to the discovery of the baby who became Paul Somers Harding. I hope to post it soon, and, if you are interested. you can find it at www.grinnellstories.blogspot.com.
In that connection, I located the citation for Paul's obituary which you quote from an undated newspaper clipping found among Ida's possessions: the obituary appeared in the Grinnell Herald, 23 Sep 1921, p. 1. Newspaper accounts of the discovery of the baby appeared in the Grinnell Herald 29 Aug 1911, p. 1 and in the Grinnell Register 28 Aug 1911.
Thank you, and best wishes.

|ap387||Ambrose and Lena Pansarasa|
I've just created memorials for Ambrose (1889-1976) and Lena (1889-1969) Pansarasa in St. Mary's Cemetery, Windsor Locks, Connecticut; they are buried in the plot with Peter, Margaret, Louise, and Joseph, whose memorials I transferred to you a while back. I didn't notice Ambrose and Lena's stones the first time around. I'd be glad to transfer them if you're interested. I'm not sure how they're related--I'm assuming Ambrose is Peter's brother and Lena is Ambrose's wife, or something like that. A FamilySearch.org search didn't really turn up any records that would answer that question. (Also, I've added a headstone picture to the memorials for Peter, Margaret, Louise, and Joseph--just letting you know so you can re-order the pictures as you see fit, especially on Joseph's page.) Anyway, let me know if you're interested in a transfer of Ambrose and Lena's memorials and I will do that. Thanks.
