I think we've visted before! Matteson
I'm still trying to find Waite Matteson and wife Sarah, in Shiawasee co, Michigan, either they were buried on the farm with no marker together or they left Mi and went somewhere else! I have a paper showing they owed land in that area, the kids, some stayed in that area too, any suggestions?

Waite Matteson was b. 1792 and died around 1858, Sarah. about 1794 RI too, and not sure if she died before or after Waite.

Thank you for all you are doing to transcribe Owosso cemetaries, however you spell it :)

If you have any ideas, please let know, I've been waiting what seems like forever to find Sarah's family and am stopped cold for 20 years plus, more prayers I guess, thanks Diana, once again!!!

Thank you for the photo of Civil War veteran Henry Sawyer's stone.
I am not sure what information "doesn't match" for this man.
I'm aware of:
-The 1880 census has his age off by a decade ... however his children's ages are correct.
-In 1860 he is indexed as "Abdon Sawyer" [Milwaukee]
-In 1900 he is indexed as Henry Sawyers, married 46 years to Sarah B ... Sarah claims 2 children.
-In 1910 he is a widower ..
-MI documents his marriage to Cordelia E Stone, 31 DEC 1910.
His parents given as Prescott Sawyer and Mary Lamb.
-His death certificate states "widowed"; but the informant was "Mrs H.A. Sawyer"; Length of residence at place of death "3 mos".

Thank you for photographing the site at which my father's ashes are interred. Since there was no room left near his father's grave in Roselawn Cemetery in Muskegon ,his remains were placed in the family plot of his sister-in-law's husband Since my widowed mother moved out of Michigan later and since there is only one member of my immediate family that still lives in Michigan and has good health, and since my father spent most of his life elsewhere than in the Lansing area,we have left commemoration efforts more to extended family than we should have.

RE: Jeter Buchanan
Diana I do realize now that you did not add the marriage license to the gravesite. When I saw it I was very shocked and upset and did not look to see who added it. I am very sorry for accusing you and please except my apology. I have contacted the gentlemen who had added it and it has been removed. Again, please forgive me.

Diana after I left that nasty message I realized that you were not the one that added the marriage license. Please forgive me and except my apology for being so nasty with you. I was just shocked when I went to the grave site and found my father and his first wife's certificate on the page with my mother and father. Again, I am sorry I should have looked more closely

Walter Cronk
I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to transcribe all of these cemeteries and take pics of the stones. Walter Cronk was my aunt's first husband, and the father of my two cousins.

I am trying to transcribe the cemeteries closest to me but I'm way luckier ~ most of them are REALLY small, lol.

Thanks again for all of your hard work. Robin J. Zube

Many Memorials
Diana, you have so kindly entered memorials for a great many of my Warner-related cousins.

I would like transfers so that I can add information to these memorials and also link them.

How would you prefer I request the memorials? One by one through the Edit function, or as a list?

Wonderful! All the Crawfords in Laingsburg are my grandparents, great-grandparents, great-aunts, great-uncles or second cousins. It would be really neat to see where they all are, especially if they're all pretty much together.

And I'm looking for my grandfather's only sibling, my aunt Marjorie Crawford Blincoe Waterman. If you see her, we can make a Memorial.

Thanks!
Linda

Donald E. Lovejoy
Lovejoy's in Rose Lawn cemetery
I would like to provide information on the Lovejoy's in Rose Lawn or have you transfer them to me. There are 13 of them. Wallace Lovejoy death date is 1864. He is buried in Bell Oak cemetery in Ingham county. His family probably had an addition stone put for him later in Rose Lawn.

Osburns in Roselawn cemetery
Thank you for all the work you have done photographing headstones. I'm just now finding out how time consuming this work is. But I love it anyway! Mildred and William Osburn were my aunt and uncle. I went to Aunt Mildred's funeral but apparently never took a picture of the stone, so it's nice to have that picture here. Would you transfer mgt of their memorials to me so I can add family links and other info? Rowena
