Henry Hughes
Theresa I saw a headstone for a Janice H. Hughes at St. Anthonys in early 2011. Janice was all that was engraved on that stone. There was a spot for another name but nothing yet.
I found it tonight on findagrave is this your Janet H. Hughes for Henry?

Henry Hughes in St. Anthony's
Hi, Theresa. The cemetery office said they do not have Henry Hughes in their interment records, based on those dates. If you have more information or would like to contact them directly you can email GiGi at Let me know if you find the location and I'll be happy to get the photo of Henry's stone. --Julie

Thomas Hope
Hi Theresa,
If you click on the picture itself, it will bring up my caption. I usually try to include all information that I can read. This headstone was in pretty bad shape...lots of erosion due to acid rain and lichen. I am surprised the photo showed anything at all.

Also, at the bottom you can make out "HOPE" in larger, carved letters.

Farrar and related families
Hilah Farrar
In looking over all of the memorials in that cem., I found Hilah with a married name. Farrar was her maiden name, so this Memorial will hopefully be deleted soon as it is a duplicate. Thank you for your efforts in this matter.

Headstone transcription
Re Find A Grave Memorial# 61566593. Can you please confirm the headstone transcription as it is very hard to see on the photo that was taken.

I am trying to piece together this family, my ancestors, and if I could confirm the dates it would be much appreciated.

Hi Teresa!

I would like to know if you could transfer my great-grandmother's memorial to me? She is buried at Hazel Ridge Cemetery and you took a very nice photograph of her marker. I have additional information and several photos I would like to add to her memorial! Thanks so much!

Re: John MacTavish photo
Hi Theresa:

Stopped in at the Woodmere office, and found John MacTavish in Section 2 (Block 10, Grave 171). The grave is partially sunk, and the picture you see is the best I could do. The stone needs to be raised and repositioned by the cemetery--there's no way anyone could dig that thing up by themselves!

The records are somewhat incomplete--the only things I could find were these:

Name: John McTavish (Stone reads MacTavish)
Birthplace: US
Late Residence: Detroit
Date of Death: January 26, 1920
Disease: Carcinoma of the Liver
Undertaker: Daines & Bell (defunct)
Burial date: April 27, 1920
Section 2, Block 10, Grave 171

Hope you like the photo, and take care!

RE: James Abram Minshall
Hi again, I also just looked at your photographs and you not only have James Abram's wife, Bertha, but his parents as well, George & Mary Minshall. Would it be possible to make copies of all these photographs, this is fantastic! Thank you so much!

RE: James Abram Minshall
Hi Teresa, so sorry this has taken so long to respond. I am absolutely thrilled that you found the James Minshall gravemarker, this is the grandfather of James Abram Minshall (the first Minshall photo you took) and my 3rd great-grandfather! Thank you so very much and may I have your permission to copy this?

His wife was Rebecca (nee Campbell) Minshall and she died 27 Nov 1873, is there any way you could see if she is buried nearby? It is possible she could have also been buried as "Hannah" her full name was Hannah Rebecca Minshall, but we beleve she went by Rebecca.
