RE: Sarah Oakey link to mother
Per your earlier comment, please note that the duplicate Sara(h) memorial has been removed per my request to its owner. Thanks for your help!

Noted. I have contacted the manager of the duplicate memorial and asked that s/he delete it, since it does not have complete/correct information, and was created after yours. We'll see what happens, I guess.

RE: Violet Olson
Thanks so much for making the links to Violet's parents. I spent a few weeks in the Wausau area this summer and had good success with my cemetery, courthouse and library research. We've collaborated in the past regarding the Baerwald family and I occasionally find other memorials you've created that overlap my family. I appreciate your knowledge and helpfulness! Enjoy the rest of your WI summer.

THanks so much. Those parents have about 3 other infants that died 1913, 1917 and 1918 within a few days of the births, but I guess either nobody enterred a memorial for them or they have no headstones. I'll have to check that out this spring.
Yeah it is slushy here too and maybe freeze that slush tonight. I live south about 20 miles from that cemetery in Marathon County. Where do you live?

May I have your permission to add your photograph of
the grave of Laroy Burlingame (1833-1895) on my Ancestry page for him? He was my 2nd GG-grandfather. I would, of course, include a credit to you as the photographer/copyright holder.

Here is the link to the memorial to which you added the photograph.

RE: Johann Goetsch - St. Peter's
I meant it nicely, sorry if I didn't type it that way. I know I make a lot of mistakes as well. Again I am deeply sorry if it didn't come off that way.

Cannot see where I thanked you for the photo of Kenneth and Bessie's marker. Doing that now. Also, thank you so much for linking the family members and for transferring the maintenance of many of the family members to me.

I saw the markers you photographed. Once again thank you so much. I figured out who James Chapin was - Fred's brother. I am looking forward to updating what I am able to and connecting the family together.

History Bug,
You're welcome. I am new at this, so I didn't want you to think that I wanted to correct you, but as long as I have the Cemetery Records, I thought I would clear up any errors.
Thanks for correcting so soon.
I will add you as a friend if you don't mind.

Thank you for your time looking for Elizabeth's grave. Thank you for taking the photo of Mary's stone, she is an ancestor too. I had just not got to that point when I requested Elizabeth's. I'm just going to put that Elizabeth is just in an unmarked grave.

RE: Brownsville Cemetery
I was able to speak with the village clerk today and have established the cemetery as Brownsville Community Cemetery on Findagrave.com. The cemetery records are accessible at the Brownsville Village Hall on Fire Street.

Since I've added most of the memorials in the Lutheran cemetery, there should be little mixing of the memorials. I'll watch for those that may be added by others. The bounderies of the two cemeteries may be determined by an old corner post located near the middle of the combined areas. Graves south and west of this post are in the Brownsville Community Cemetery.

Hopefully, you have some pictures and memorials to add. I still have many photos, and bios to research for the Lutheran cemetery.

Brownsville Cemetery
You raise a good question. I'd like to see it on its own (with explaination of location adjacent to the Lutheran Cemetery). However I don't know the correct name and I would like to contact the Village regarding both the name and the responsible parties for the cemetery. It is the older cemetery and has pioneer graves and civil war veterans.

Ferdinand Rusch
Hi History Bug, I just recently began doing genealogy and I found your site. Ferdinand Rusch and Amalia Gierach Rusch are my GG Grandparents, Edwin Rusch G Grandfather and Gertrude Rusch Senogles Gade is my grandmother. I noticed you provided a memorial for Ferdinand and your bio said you were interested in the Rusch's. The cemetery is Stone Cemetery in Dodge County. I was wondering if we had a relationship?
