Ada Arnold
Thank you for taking the photo of Ada Arnold's gravesite. It loooks like it was an unmarked grave. I think. I needed to see it and know where it was. Again. Thank you.

Arnold - Searson grave plots Sylvan Abbey

I appreciate the clarification on Kathleen's DOD. I've changed it to the 15th as you found in the social security record.

If you could help me sort out these grave locations one more time I'd appreciate it. Is Ruel Arnold in Lot 148 and the others in 147?

It looked like Fanny was in the grave next to Ruell Arnold since they share a marker.

Right now it's listed as:
Ruel Arnold, Westlawn B, Lot 148, Space 4
Fanny Arnold, Westlawn B, Lot 147, Space 1
John Searson, Westlawn B, Lot 147, Space 2
Kathleen A. Searson, Westlawn B, Lot 147, Space 3
Ada Arnold, Westlawn B, Lot 147, Space 4
Ruel A. Searson, Westlawn B, Lot 147, Space 3

The way it looks as if Ruel A. Searson and Kathleen are occupying the same space unless Ruel's cremated remains are placed on top of Kathleen's burial in the same space? Is this what happened. I just want to make sure I have these locations correct.

If I have this correct, Ruell is in the far right of Lot 148 and then to the immediate right of his grave starts Lot 147 and Fanny is in Space 1 of Lot 147? Do I understand this correctly?

If there are any more Arnold's or Searsons in the plot that information would be welcom. I don't know if there are more family members in graves next to Ruell.

Thank you for all you did. It's nice to have someone there on the ground since I can't be there to see any of this.

Kathleen Arnold Searson
Dear R.J.,
I appreciate the edits you sent on Kathleen. I've got some information past to me from another family researcher that said she was born in Leavenworth, Indiana and her DOD is November 16, 1984 and not the 15th. My information could also have errors so if you believe yours is more accurate than please let me know. Thank you for your efforts on this families memorials.

DeNoce Photos
Hi RJ! Thank you so much for your kindness in taking photos of the DeNoce's. Jocelyn is my first cousin one generation removed. If you get back to the cemetery and happen to see their son 145511467, I forgot to put in a photo request for him. I would also be curious to know if there is other family with them as I am in New York. If you aren't headed back, thank you again. I'm very happy to have such nice photos of Jocelyn and Phillip!

Ltc. Merwin L. Morrill, USAF
Dear Sir or Madam.

Thank you for posting the memorial to my uncle Lt. Col. Merwin L. Morrill, USAF at the West Point Cemetery.

My father Lt. Col. David W. Morrill, USMC., was his older brother. He was also a fighter pilot and was also killed in action in Vietnam five months before Uncle Mel. I have never seen Mel's grave marker at West Point.

Thank you for sharing the memorial and photos. My family appreciates it more than you will ever know!
