|Minister Derek Boyd West||Burial of my Paternal great aunts and great uncles|
Do you happen to know where Grandma's brothers Tom, Dale and Dewy are Buried, and her sisters Fern and Lucy? I can't locate them in Maple Grove

|Minister Derek Boyd West||RE: Burch Family|
If you have info on Martin Van Buren Burch's siblings, and a photo of him and his wife, or a sngle photo, or a family photo, or all of the above, i could use that info, and also the photo's. I have a copy of a paper photo of Riley and Daisy, and my 11 great aunts and uncles and my Grandma, that we got at my great aunt Martha's funeral. It's not really clear, but i will upload it, and see how it works.

|Minister Derek Boyd West||RE: What does ‘removed’ mean?|
Thank you for that explanation on relations, and conncerning that term "removed." The relative to me that was using that term, didn't know the meaning either. That is more logical than what i had been told. It really had me concerned, because almost every single Burch relative i found had that term, and i have heard some interesting things about Burch's being known for their querkiness, particularly my great Grandfather Riley, and my relative had referred to him as 3 times removed. I thought, i know he was different, but how did he get removed and re accepted in a lifetime? Thanks for making that make sense, and for the breakdown on cousins. I had a general idea with first through third cousins, but had trouble beyond that point.

|Minister Derek Boyd West||Connection to Burch family|
My name is Derek Boyd West, and i am the great grandson of Riley Burch. I believe he is your relative also, but i am unsure. I just have seen your name on many of my relatives memorials, and was wondering what was the connection. My great grandpa Riley was my dads, moms dad. Any family information you might have, would be appreciated. I am newly into this ancestry hobby, but i believe it is becoming an obsession. If there is a connection, i would love if you would share it. Thank you and i appreciate it.

Thank You for the additional info but recently learned: If the obituary is added to the memorial record, list the newspaper and date the obit was printed for example "Published in the Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Internet Edition, April 11, 2007". Please do not include the names of living or surviving relatives in the biography, unless you have their permission. If you do not have permission to copy an obituary to a memorial, you may put a note stating the name of the newspaper and the date the obituary was published.
Please do NOT add photographs from obituary notices (unless you, personally took the photo), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record.

Would you like for me to transfer these memorials to you? I have no relationship to these people and since they appear to be related to you I will transfer to you for you to update the memorials.

|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||Hello there Audrey...|
Thanks EVER so much for the updates. You sent a little note asking if the Bentleys were related to me.
George married Mary Lalley who was a cousin to my line. Not sure exactly what happened but did find a second marriage to Jennie Buckels. He had children with both, but apparently the first marriage did not survive.

|Donna Key||Zelpha Ball|
Zelpha Ball is the mother of my great grandmother Amelia Ball Sawyers. I have a copy of Amelia's death certificate and it says her father was John Ball and her mother was Zelpha Evans. Your site says Zelpha Ball was a Cowans. Do you have any ideas on this. Which one is right.

|John Swift||RE: Photo Request|
I enjoyed doing that for you as I know how hard it is to get to some of these places. I carry a grave cleaning kit with me now to get the best photo I can. I used a white sand painting sand on the stone to bring out the best possible image. I wet the marker first and then apply the sand into the groves to provide more distinct image as I did on this one. Of course the sand washes out with the first rain. I can sent the original if you need it. I tried for all the requested images but could not find others. Some of my own ancestors that I know are buried there I could not find their grave marker. I hope this helps complete your search.

|James Maxwell||Elisha McDaniel & Dora (Sams) McDaniel|
I got your request for the transfers, but Elisha and Dora (Sams) McDaniel are my great-grandparents. Coleman Sams is my 2x great-grandfather and I am trying to get all of his children connected to him. I have sent out requests to this end.
You were very kind to transfer to me the memorial for Reuben McDaniel previously.
Thank you again!
