Jim -

I am sorry but I could not find the message that I sent to you and I cannot remember which graves you were interested in. If you will send me that info then I will be glad to post the photos.

Ebenezer Cousens grave
Hello Jim: We had some email contact a few months ago when you posted pictures of the grave of my husband's great-great-grandfather, Capt. Joseph P. Pratt, on the find-a-grave website. My husband, Arthur Pratt, and I visited Saccarappa Cemetery over Thanksgiving weekend to view the restoration of the gravestones for Joseph and his daughter, Little Katie Pratt. I had paid a local contractor in Westbrook, ME, to restore them earlier in the year, and he did a great job. When you and I first communicated, you very kindly transferred ownership of those sites to my husband's Pratt family tree. On a whim today, I went looking for another of Art's ancestors, Ebenezer Cousens. I was excited to see that you had posted a picture of his gravestone, too. Eben was the father of Art's great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth Cousens Pratt, and was in fact the father-in-law of Joseph P. Pratt. We knew Eben was buried in Saccarappa Cemetery, but we didn't know there was an existing gravestone. I was thrilled to see there was. By any chance, could you describe its location in the cemetery to me? Is it anywhere near Joseph Pratt's grave? Elizabeth Pratt is supposedly buried in Saccarappa, too, but we found no tombstone for her. Do you know of one? Meanwhile, I hope you have had a satisfying Christmas holiday and are looking forward to a good New Year. Thanks for your help, Ilana Pratt

Thanks for the photo of Sadie and Henry Wilcox stone in steep falls. It was so heartwarming to see the stone again. Since I live in Florida now,I don't know what I would do without sincere people like you to help keep me connected. I did not receive the photo of my mom and dads stone Florence and Raymond boisvert just behind my grandmothers Sadie Wilcox.I was wondering if you sent it and it did not go through.
Thank you,

Hi Jim: I sent you an email with more details. I would be happy to take over the site. Just tell me how I do it.
Thanks, Ilana Pratt

RE: Helen's marker

Actually, I took another closeup look with my camera, and the first 3 numbers of Helen's date of death are 185, so it might be 1853.

Hi Jim,

I visited the cemetery last week, and took a few photos, and added Capt. Isaac Walker memorial, if you wouldn't mind linking his four kids to him, whose memorials you created.

Can't thank you enough for all you did to "find" who I was looking for and taking and posting photos of their gravestones. It is just wonderful to have all this information you have provided.

James Elder Crockett

You are correct. Elder is a title and not his middle name. Why don't you go ahead and transfer him to me and I will maintain his page.

Sorry I was mistaken the photo was taken by someone else. Don't want any confusion or hurt feelings. I did thank the actual person that went out and uploaded the photo.

Travis Thebeau

Hey ... I happened to run across you here thanks to a link my mother received. I've just started looking into the whole extended family ... Thebeaus, Blanches, Mitchells, Rackliffs and what not. Pretty big task when your going in every direction you can. This site is already a god send for the Blanche tree. Even just finding names from the past is a real solid start. Thanks for contributing so much to the site! I'm on if you happen to be over there as well. Keep in touch: - Travis
