|ladyN70||JOHN B. McKINNEY|
I transferred my photo to John Onar's memorial, but I can't link John Onar to parents because I didn't create his memorial. I didn't link Syntha "Cynthia" Stephens as John Onar's wife, because the creator of his memorial has a note that says Mary Ann Stephens was his wife. I have deleted the memorial I posted. To get any other edits done on John Onar's memorial, you'll have to contact the person that created his memorial. Seems odd that everything you've found show his middle initial as "B." as shown on the headstone, and only one document shows the middle name beginning with an "O". Since I'm not related, I have not done any research on the family, so I have no idea what is correct.

|Julie A (Eskridge) Taylor||Thank you|
Hey, just wanted to thank you for stopping by my mother's memorial and leaving her a token.. Yes, I love the pic with the dress spread too. She was a very beautiful woman.. I miss her so.. She always had a word of advice, which I would argue, but in the end.. I have to say.. You were right mom.. I still tell her that from time to time.. God bless and have a great day !!

Your comment about the pill gave me a good chuckle to start the day.
I just always check when the age difference is enough that there *could* be a generation between.

You're very welcome! He's in a lovely, well cared for cemetery in the far east end. It appeared he was next to relatives.

You sent me an edit for Robert Castillo (# 49521125). According to your edit his mother, Rosa May Castillo, would have been 42 when he was born. Can you please verify that is correct?

|Glenda Hall||RE: Golson Wilson #60341161|
Thank you for your suggestion. There are two William Wilson families from Russell County.
1. William Wilson b abt 1812 married Ann Pierce 26 May 1831. Their children were Richard, Joseph, Golson, Jane and William so far as I know. They were living in Camden Co., MO, in 1850; after that I haven't found much success in locating them.
2. William J. Wilson b abt 1812-1815 married Anna Flanagan abt 1834. Their children were Amanda Jane, Willis W., John, Milly, Daniel, Wesley, Elizabeth, Moses W., Bennett, William and Eliza J. They were in Russell Co. in 1850-1870; William died bef 1880, and Annie died sometime after 1880 in Russell Co. They are my great great grandparents.
If you have questions, my email is gjohall at Hotmail.com.

|Teresa Pyles||RE: Anita Wilson Pierce|
I double checked the original obituary and it does list her father as James W. Wilson. If this is not correct, let me know. I will correct it. I do know of the Wilson book by William Surber Wilson. But, I don't know which name is correct for Anita's father. Thanks.

Most people say their fist cousins are the children of their Aunts and Uncles. While true, this doesn't help when working in Genealogy. The read definition of cousins is that you share common grand parents. Second cousins share Great Grandparents (note the number of letter "G"s in each corresponds with the level of separation. A fifth cousin has a common ancestor as Great, Great, Great, Great Grandparents. (Count the "G"s.) Some times your common ancestor has not the same number of "G"s. Take the bigger number, say 15, and subtract the smaller number, say 14. These two would be 14th cousins, once removed. This is shown in the PDF file from the New England Historic Genealogical Society, 2011. It is available at URL
The woman at the top of this chart is Agnes Gascoigne Fairfax. She is Kate's 14th Grandmother and William's 15th. Agnes' father was Sir William Gascoigne, 1450-1487. Another of his daughters, Elizabeth Gascoigne Talboys/Tailboys/Talbios/Tailbois (choose your own speeling)was George Washington's 7 times grandmother. This makes Kate's son, HRH Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, third in line to the throne, 8th cousin, 9 times removed to George Washington.
Think you can calculate these relationships now?

When requesting family links, please click on the "Edit" tab on the memorial you want linked, then select option #2 - Relationship and type in the memorial numbers of the person(s) you want to link to.

|Julie A (Eskridge) Taylor||John Washington Wilson|
Hello Marilyn.. I have requested that John Washington Wilson be linked to his parents, Abraham and Jemima Wilson.. This has to be done through his link. I am only able to link, parents and spouse. The children have to be linked in their own memorial to their parents and spouse. So I did contact ENIDJAM for the linkage. Thanks/Julie 47008461.

|John Cain||RE: NO CONTACT GASOMR|
I like to give someone the chance to update the memorials before I contact Find A Grave Administrators. I am sure they get thousands of messages a day. Waiting 4-6 months to get an update is a bit much. It looks like Gasomr has several people requesting updates, that still have not been completed. So next step is the administrators.
