Private Jack D. Key
Private Jack D. Key is listed on the Walls of Missing of the Sicily Rome Cemetery in Nettuno, Italy. He was lost in or over Sicily in July 1943.

You took a picture of his cenotaph, the Wall of Missing listing his name, or any other picture or documentation. I would like to ask your permission to use that picture for my project about the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily, where over 1,200 men and women were buried between July 1943 and April 1947. If his remains would have been found, he would have been buried at Gela.

I have my project available on a DVD, titled "They stayed behind".

Of course you will be credited

Milton and Delilah Tayser
Thank you one more time for taking a photo of one of my beloved relatives. This time Delilah Mabery Tayse was found in Granville Cemetery. It's so very difficult to find a Mabery because of all the ways the last name was spelled. As an extra bonus, your photo of their graves also included a photo of the couple off their gravestones. What cheekbones!

RE: Halfacre
Since I don't really know him, it would be better if you managed the account. I am in the "process" of making good on a promise to my cousin, Delbert Jones of Algood, Putnam Co., TN. Delbert collected thousands and thousands of obituaries from the newspapers of White, Putnam, Overton and Jackson counties, among others. I am guessing that he snipped out over 70-80 thousand obits - with a high proportion of duplicates which I am winnowing out one bundle at a time. * Delbert probably didn't know all of the people in those obituaries - but he did know many of them. Walking in a large Cookeville cemetery, about 6 years ago, he was able to tell me about each and every tombstone we came across. I believe that Delbert (and by extension, me) was related to most every one in the cemetery. He also knew every cemetery between Cookville and Sparta and Brotherton and Cumberland County. Meantime, I begin to work on the 2nd thousand obituaries.

William Carl Huff
Thank you for your great tombstone picture. When I saw the name of Carl's wife, I looked her up and found that she was already listed with her husband, "Carl W. Huff" at a different Find A Grave memorial - No. 43493726. Hopefully the two sites will combine and use YOUR photo - it is, by far, the better of the two. Anyways, I have made the suggestion. Now, I am looking for Carl's 2nd wife. Thanks, again. - Will Stamps
