Hi. Thanks so much for taking the photo of my mom and dad's gravesite. I really appreciate how fast you got it done, too! I live in Florida and don't get to Baltimore very often, so this network of volunteers is great. Thanks again.

Thank you
Thank you very much for your quick assistance. Thomas was my great great grandfather and I really appreciate being able to see his headstone after all this time.

Louisa Baum
Today I was at Glenwood and looked up the grave of Louisa Baum in response to your request. She is buried in Section D, Lot 317 as indicated on her memorial here. I went to Lot 317 where, according to cemetery records, at least six members of the Baum family are buried. Unfortunately the only individual marker in the lot today is one for George Baum in site 9. Louisa's grave in site 3 is directly in front of his, but unmarked. If you would like, I could post a photograph showing George's marker and the area in front of it where she is buried. Or, if you prefer, I could have the request removed with an explanation that the grave is unmarked. Just let me know what you prefer. Sorry there wasn't more to find!

RE: Louis Eckert #106749259
I added his obituary if that helps. It also says he's at Moreland. The office should be able to check their records by date... Maybe his name is misspelled when they converted to computer.

Good luck with your search.

RE: Louis Eckert #106749259
I don't know how there can be no record as I obviously found the marker. Unfortunately, I shot a ton of pictures that day and don't have the location noted for Louis. I grabbed the picture because I know a local woman working on the Eckert line.

Thank you for fulfilling my photo requests for my Nesbit relatives interred in Oak Lawn Cemetery. The photo on the grave marker of Richard Nesbit is an added bonus. I really appreciate your work with FindaGrave, in locating lost relatives. Thanks again!

Marilyn Coulon Putman
Coulon children's graves
Thank you so much for attempting to find the headstones for my father's baby brothers. Many years ago I had written to the cemetery and they sent me a letter with the names of all those buried in that lot, so I know that Jean Francois Coulon and Noel Francois Coulon, Jr. are both buried there. But, given that you were not able to find headstones, I think it's entirely possible that my grandparents were not able to afford to buy headstones and somehow it was never taken care of. They had six other children, and the first two babies were spoken of only very rarely, I understand.

I can't thank you enough for your efforts on my behalf. I am going to cancel (remove? take down?) my photo request for those two graves, and I very much appreciate you letting me know that you have searched and there were no stones there. Thank you.

Jame King marker
Thank you for the picture of James and Dorothy King's foot marker. I am disappointed however that the death date (May 6, 2008) has not yet been added to his marker. I'm sure his family will take care of that eventually.

It is very kind of you to volunteer your time to help others like this. It truly means a lot.

Best regards,

Jeff Lovelace
King Family of Washington, DC
Greetings,
Can you help me locate a husband and wife that passed away in DC? It seems that DC has that 50 year rule about obtaining a copy of a Death Certificate, which is keeping me from finding their burial location. Could you access the Obits in the Library?
Please help me if you can.

RE: two photo requests at Parkwood
George, I totally understand about the rain. No problem, let's wait for good weather. Thanks for asking. It is Lot 191 in the Locust Section. You should find two graves - Edward Bernard Engles Sr. and Jr. Ed's wife Margaret was cremated. Thanks, Bill

Thanks very much for the photos of Christian and Ella. I sincerely appreciate your help. There is nothing like a picture to really help understand these folks and being out of state, I never would have seen them without your assistance. They are great photos. Thx again. Rick

C. R. V. Hall
Lydia Rose Pierce Sterling grave photo
Hi,

The photo credited to you which is attached to the record for Lydia Rose Pierce Sterling, buried in Eastport Cemetery, Baltimore Co., MD, is of a marker w/ the surname Blubaugh. It does not seem to have anything to do with Mrs. Sterling.

Do you have a photo for the grave of Mrs. Sterling?
