|DECN||RE: Noe Family|
I would love to share any info re: the Noe family!
My mother-in-law had passed along a great amount of info that she had been able to collect from the Carthel (Tex's) family, in Arkansas, but as far beyond Baldwin Noe, John M "Jack" Noe's father, I've hit a brick wall at. There are so many Baldwin Noe's in the area, and with minimal access to documentation (we live in Oregon), it's become a little difficult.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you for creating a memorial for John Applegate, whom I believe is my 4x or 5x GGF.
What does it mean to transfer a memorial, by the way?

|JLB||Eva Berniece Russell Bennett|
I have done some searching for information of Essa /Essie Sours Bennett. Sadly, I have been unable to find anything.
I have experienced equallymal luck in regards to finding any information of much regarding first wife, Laura Mae Britton, of Edward Marion Bennett
It is all in fun though and I'll keep searching as time permits.
I would appreciate any information you may have marriage of Edward Marion Bennett to Essa B. Sours since their children are half siblings to my own father.
If Eva B. Russell is a member of your own family tree I'll be more than happy to transfer her memorial back to you.

|JLB||RE: Eva Bennett Russell|
Thanks for your reply and the information. I am aware that Edward Marion Bennett remarried after his marriage to Laura Mae Britton, and that there were children by him and Essie B. Sours/Bennett. Edward was married to my grandmother, Laura Mae Britton, and they had several sons and (according to family sources) a daughter who died in infancy. My own mother used to talk about Ed and Essie but I was unable to gather any information on this marriage until my niece sent me a copy of the obituary for Eva Berniece Russell Bennett, and that provided some new leads on this aspect of Edward Marion Bennett's life after he and my grandmother parted company. I am glad you have updated Eva's memorial to include her half siblings and, as I promised, I will now delete my own memorial for Eva Berniece Bennett/Russell. It would be much appreciated if you could also post links to her mother (Essie B.) and any other family members linked to Eva which I aven't discovered yet. Just a note...the Bessie Bennett I have included among those in my virtual cemeteries is in now way linked to Edward M. or Eva. Her inclusion was purely speculative in case I discovered a place for her in the family later.

|JLB||Eva Berniece Bennett Russell|
Greetings from Lakewood, Washington.
After a lengthy period of research into the genealogy of my father, William Thomas Bennett, I finally located his half sister, Eva Berniece Russell.
Using information provided by my niece, who lives in Springfield, MO, I prepared a memorial for Berniece on Find A Grave.
I have been notified by another Find A Grave contributor that my memorial is a duplicate of the one you prepared (93384267), and has requested I delete mine.
Berniece is a link in my own genealogy and I have asked Find A Grave to post a link to her fathers memorial (Edward Marion Bennett) and allow a link to be formed between Berniece and her half siblings to allow search of the Bennett side of her family.
Find A Grave has not responded to my request so I ask that you transfer Bernieces memorial to me so that I can post the links myself.
Upon completion of this I will transfer her memorial back to you and delete the one I've prepared.
If we share a family link through Edward Marion Bennett (my grandfather) I'd love to hear from you.

Thank you for the information but I'm pretty sure they are not the same person. If I recall correctly I also found a death certificate for George B. I am not 100 percent sure on this being George W's death certificate but the information fits and I've searched extensively for any later record on George W. without being able to find any. I'm 95% sure this death certificate is my G-Grandfather's.

Thank You so much for the correction, as I was not financially able to get to be there for her funeral and burial. I lived in Sweet Home, Oregon at the time. But, thank you again, it means a lot.

|Lynda West Hahn||Bessie Hunt Enke|
Mary: I have been in contact with Johnny Enke, son of Bessie, and he said that she is actually buried in the Summit Cem., north of Mt. Vernon where her parents are buried. Bessie and last husband, John Enke, were divorced but John Sr. had added her name onto the gravestone that has his name and also that of his second wife. Bessie was related to me through the Hunts.
Thanks, Lynda West Hahn

Thank you Mary! This is helpful, or at least a clue! I appreciate the efforts you are making to help. We will take a look at this connection to see if it leads anywhere for us. And, yes, please keep in touch with anything else you may find! Connie

My ancestor is great grandfather Alexander Farr/Furr/Fair and his sister Eliza/Louisa Farr/Furr/Fair. Both were indentured in 1837 by Robert McReynolds of Blount County TN. Alexander was only 1 yr 11 mos at the time of his indenture and Eliza was only 3 yrs 3 mos. My cousin and I are trying to determine what happened from after the indenture until he married my great grandmother Susan Chatham in Fayette County IL in 1854. I believe he either traveled with the McReynolds/Weirs or followed behind. They all end up in Fayette County but there is no sign of him anywhere in the 1850 census. I was hoping a descendant of the McReynolds/Weir family might have some information or some clues to help us.

I am looking for a fellow genealogist who is descended from the Sarah Wear McReynolds and Robert McReynolds family. I would like to talk with someone who has researched this family. I have an ancestor that was an indentured servant living with them back in Blount Co TN and possibly in Fayette County IL. I notice you created the memorial of their son, Newton McReynolds. Are you a descendent of the Wear or McReynolds family?

Hi Mary, I was only about 8 or 9 when he died so I really didn't know him, but I have very clear memories of the accident. For some reason for the first 24 hrs or so the Navy gave Floyd & Juanita some hope that they might be rescued. I went with my father to see them when we saw that they had received another telegram, which unfortunately was the one telling them that the sub was lost with all hands. They were, of course, devastated. They were very proud that Rae Anne was named after him.

sorry about that previous message, hit the wrong key. Do you know how you are related to Floyd McClelland? He went to high school with my aunts and he and his wife ended up living across the street from us when I was growing up.

Thank you for the heads up of the two separate memorials for Lewis Franklin Ward (mine is ... Memorial# 28399784).
Obviously one of them is a Cenotaph, but I personally have no way of verifying which one it is.
So I put a LINK in the bio of my Kansas memorial that will take anyone to the Indiana memorial if they like.
Thanks again for catching that little quirk.
