No Guts, No Glory
I have
some pictures of Ralph and my dad, but since we were in the process of moving, everything is packed...he and my dad were both general contractors and belonged to the Marion County Builders Association...

Loucks Family in Spring Valley Mennonite Cemetery
Hello Betty Lou,

After surfing your findagrave bio, it would seem that we have a lot in comman. I too, have the surnames of Loucks, Hoover, Wise, Weaver, and Hershberger just to name a few in my direct family line's... And they all stem from Elkhart, Indiana. (Except the Hershberger's.... who are from Pennsylvania, where my Hoy Line stem's from, there is also a "Kline" in that same line.... :)

And now the reason for my message tonight.......

You have 8 Louck's memorials posted in the Spring Valley Mennonite Cemetery. The main one John Henry Loucks, is the brother of my Great Great Grandmother, Emaline (Loucks) Hoover Wise. I would like to add some additional info to these memorials and link them with additional family members. I know that asking for 8 transfer's is alot to ask of any good findagraver, but rather than send you all those "Edit" e-mail's, I was wondering if you might consider transfering them to me and than if you wished to keep them, I could than transfer them back to you when I have added everything I have on them.

I don't know if the Louck's family is your line or your husband's line, but I'll bet we are somehow related!!! IF you think so too, Please feel free to send me a direct e-mail at

Hope To Hear Back From You When You Can Find The Time....

Isaac & Katherine Hochstetler
They are buried in the new section west of the drive in Row 2, Lot 3. They do not have a tombstone. I found this information in the Lake Bethel cemetery book. Barb

Horn Family
My grandmother was Nina May "Horn" Amsden who was a sister to William. My father did genealogy on Mom's side as well as his so I do have some info. I took over his genealogy and have tried to keep it updated as well as putting it all on computer. A lot of the Horns are buried at Oakridge Cemetary as you probably know. My mother was Mary Lou "Amsden" Stump. I am willing to share info. My #47050547 on find a grave. Beckie Pressler

Samuel D Cripe
I notice you had a Samuel D. Cripe with no dates, I have him in my tree I have no dates on him, He has a son name Joseph M. Cripe b.1825 in Ohio d.1891 in Elkhart,Indiana. He would be my 5th cousin's father -n-law. I do have more information on the Cripe family if you think there might be a connection. Thank you

Lori Ann
Wenger/Patterson Connection
Hi Betty Lou,

I would like to discuss possible family connection. According to my cousin David all the photos that were taken by my sister in GR and uploaded to findagrave were family members. I don't have Elizabeth placed in my tree yet. I have made the changes you requested. If you would like anything else added, just let me know. I was wondering if you could tell me the link between Elizabeth Good Wenger and Ronald Wenger married to Dawn Patterson abt 1967.

Hi Betty,
Your very welcome! We were out today and we are between storms. The rain has gotten rid of most of the snow so it wasn't so bad.
