|Diane||RE: Fenton Browning|
Unfortunately, I do not have her name. They were married and she died young and in between census records. Haven't found a marriage record yet.
I will keep looking - just had my fingers crossed!
Thanks for the info!

This is a duplicate - but, the other memorial does not have a photo of the headstone.
May I use your photo? Or would you mind adding it to memorial #49816408
Thanks for your help!! I appreciate all the work you have done in Oakland Cemetery!

Hi, Stone Seeker,
I stumbled across the graves of
J.B. Danson, Mollie Danson and
"Jennie" Ellis at Peach Grove.
They are next to the brick tool building.
They are buried together. (Ellis Lot)
*also, thanks for the recent transfers.

Hi Stone Seeker,
I see you have Thomas Greeno and his wife, Luticia. I wonder why the cemetery doesn't erect his stone back up next to hers?

|Kenneth Britton||RE: Pribble family in Oakland Cemetery|
Once a person dies you can post their info but just delete any info in the obit that pertains to a living person. If you could send me anything that you have on the Pribble family post 1960 I will look at it and only post info on deceased individuals and will do that for you so that you feel better. I don't have a problem with this but I know some do and I will respect that.

If you would like to that would be fine. I have quite a bit of info on their relationships. It seems that most of the cemetery is linked in my family tree.
It is up to you. Just let me know.

As far as I know, Edna is not in the family tree. Surnames in my family are Turner, King, Sowder, Courtney, Asberry and Haley. So I am sure you've run across several folks in my tree. In your research of Pendleton County history, have you read about the murder of Nelson Marksberry by Bela Turner in 1914? Bela was my great grand uncle and was acquitted of the crime (although I'm sure he did it). I'm still trying to get info on that.

James Henry Ramsey (#89151163) and Melissa J. Buckley Ramsey (#89151588) are my second great-grandparents. Would you mind transferring their memorials to me? I would truly appreciate it.
Thank you! I have a lot of relatives buried in Pendleton County so I appreciate the work you are doing to preserve the history of the area.

|Daniel Huston||RE: Hutson/Houston|
Much appreciated. By the way, my email indicated Hutson (as in Alva), but actually it is Huston. You do have two stones for some of my ancestors - Robert Nelson (R N) Huston and Barbara Kate were both relatives (R N was William Lee's younger brother and Kate was R N's daughter). Also, we are related to the Hannah's through Martha Huston, RN and Williams's aunt.
Our lines moved across the Ohio river into Brown county, except for RN, and eventually most left the area in the late 1840's. We are also tied very closely to the Shinkle and Bolander families who still reside in Brown county.
It's just that lingering question regarding who the generation prior to Joshua (R N's and William Lee's father) that drives us all crazy.
