Mrs. Goodrich
I've been working on identifying the women in a group photograph taken on the steps of the Lodge at Royal Palm State Park (now part of Everglades National Park) that includes a "Mrs. Goodrich". This is part of a project to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Park on November 23, 1916. It took me many, many hours of research to find out who she was and I was so very fortunate to then find your memorial, with her obituary. That confirmed what I had previously discovered. Thank you so much! If you'd like a copy of the photograph, go to the Florida State Archives at this URL:

https://www.floridamemory.com/items/show/24202

Mrs. Goodrich is #18.

Thank You!

Jeff

Would you be able to help me? I somehow managed to place my cross with a note on his memorial page twice. Would you be able to remove one or tell me how to? Thank you!

Charles Michl
Hi - I am wondering if there is a problem with the linking of Charles' parents, since Charles was born in 1888, and it shows parents Frank and Anna born in 1880, and 1889, respectively - maybe they are his siblings? Thank you for looking into this.
Have a blessed day,
Evangeline
ps - I tried to send an edit through the "edits", however, the captcha would not let me go farther...I have not had problems with them before when trying to submit edits, but for some reason did today!

RE: Lester Souba
I assumed they were typos from an obituary. There was a Parm which should be Pam, a Maxin which should be Maxine, a Jusdy which should be Judy and a Braum which should be Braun. Sister-in-lay should be sister-in-law. This was for Find A Grave Memorial# 88110966

Erma Perkins
Mary

I recently joined this group. My name is Nick Ackerman. You and your husband use to live in the old Federated Parsonage across the corner from my grandparents Everett and Ruby Real. I sent an edit to Erma Perkins profile to add her father and mother (as she was my grandmother's sister). Saw you had initially completed her profile and my grandfathers. Thought I would say Hi

William D and Rosa Earl Family
I am searching for any information on this family. They are my grandparents but I never knew them because I was adopted. I know William's parents were William and Ella but that is all I know. My mother was Doris who was the daughter of William and Rosa. I would love to trace the family back as far as possible so if any one has any information to share I would greatly appreciate it. Elizabeth
Louis Ebbeke and Mary Sherman
I am working on my family tree and notice that you have Louis Ebekke married to Mary Sherman. We have a Maria Rile in our family who is from Pennsylvania and believe married Louis Ebekke. According to the obituary of her brother dated 1907, she is living in Nebraska and is referred to as "Mrs. Ebekke of Nebraska." We have the land record of 1916 Thayer County for them and have their children as, William, Lewis, Emma, Charles, Henry, Mary.

You can find Maria's headstone at Find A Grave Memorial# 52626638
And Louis at Find A Grave Memorial# 52625938

My research starts with the 1900 census so I have no information on either of them prior to their arrival in Nebraska. I do not have any birth/death certificates or other documents that would prove my Louis and Maria Ebekke are the parents of these children. Do you have this research that will help me understand why you have Louis Ebekke married to Mary Sherman?

If you have the documents, that will clear this up easily. If not, then I have more research to do.
