Bio

My name is Michael Harrison, I started working on my genealogy about 13 years ago, and someone suggested I go to findagrave.com; this was a very good suggestion (thanks Nancy). I volunteered to be a photographer and have enjoyed being able to fulfill some of the photo request around my home area.

As I have been out walking the various cemeteries to take photos, I decided to take a few extra pictures and post them with a Memorial. This is just a hobby and allows me to get some fresh air and hopefully fill in some gaps for others working on their genealogy.

If I have made any mistakes on dates or relationships let me know and I will correct it. I add these memorials to this website with the utmost respect and hope to give them the most dignified and correct tributes possible, however if this offends anyone, just e-mail me and I will gladly remove the Memorial.

After over 45 years in the Ohio area, my wife and I have retired to Florida where I continue my time wandering cemeteries and capturing photos for family and friends.

P.S. - You may use copies of any photos I have taken of tombstones. Don't even feel the need to ask me. I in no way, shape or form feel that a picture of a tombstone I have taken is somehow owned by me. Please use and reuse the tombstone pictures I have posted. The stones are fading every day so the more copies of the photos out there, helps ensure the memory of the person and the tombstone is preserved and not lost which was the point of someone having a tombstone.
