Valentine & Mary(Skantar) Legatt
Your BIOs for each of these people do not mention daughter Josephine, who is listed as Mrs. William Tighe in Mary's obituary. There also is a son George Legatt (b 1893). I just added memorial for the Tighe stones - I am not related to the family.

RE: Lenore Moen Antonson
Hi Pat,
Thank you for your quick response. I sent a message to the person who is listed under adding info to Lenore Moen Antonson memorial as well. It looks like he made the corrections. I spoke to my Mom and she sends her regards. I am not sure if you have her email address and if you would like to get a hold of her the contact info is: bstendahl3952@hotmail.com. She is currently in Madison for a few weeks. Thank you again for creating & contributing to the memorials.
Best Wishes!

RE: Ray Carothers
I saw that in the bio but the article I referenced was from Nov 25, so I was hoping his remains had been found.

Ray Carothers - North Branch
After reading his bio - I am curious about the outcome. I tried a websearch of a newspaper database I use and the last I found was that some prisoners from area were recruited for the search. But nothing after that.

Given the circumstances, I doubt there was a good outcome, but I hope they did find him.

Do you know?

I tried to find my Uncle's grave a few years ago with no luck. Do you have any idea what part of the cemetery his grave is located? I will be passing thru this Friday May 23rd.

Thanks,

Kathy

RE: Zupan
I had seen the story about Anna and Felix and love it. In spite of whatever her father thought of him, they certainly seem to have had a wonderful life together.

There is no need to transfer the memorials to me. Felix was a cousin of my grandmother Lena (Zupan) Kossow. There fathers were brothers. I am perfectly happy with the fact that they are maintained by someone else who is more than willing to make additions or corrections as needed, and honestly, I think you have more information on that side of the family than I do lol.

Dorothy Louise (Pickarts) Kauffman
Hi Pat, thought you might like to have this memorial. I believe a family member can do a better job with a family memorial. The Kauffman name is in my family, but sure if Dorothy's husband John is connected.

RE: Alex Kurudza
hey again. wow ... until the wee hours of this morning, i'd never heard of alex but I do think he is absolutely a relation to me. (thanks again for that most informative obit.) there were name changes in my father's family over the years but if the surname had not been altered, my maiden name should have been kukurudza. my dad's gf was a man named jasko jan kukurudza, b. 1871, who married teckla Tillie boyko. she was from trembowla. this family eventually settled in sclater, Manitoba after immigrating to Canada in 1905. I know for certain that jan had one brother, stan, b. 1877, who lived in garland, not far from them. I've never come in contact with another kukurudza from this area before and am very excited to find you. I tried researching antoni last night till I nearly fell asleep in my chair, but without luck. what's the best way to send you my email address? thanks again for the reply. deb

Pat, Thank you, not related but working on this cemetery when I noticed the death record posted. Trying to connect folks. This situation happened often and folks had a way of dealing with it.
Thanks for your response and doing the research.

Harold William Icenogle
Pat,

I'm glad we got that straightened out. Thanks for helping. I added Harold Dean Icenogle's memorial (115010806) today, since I found his obit stating he is buried in the same cemetery. I think they were cousins. That incorrect date of birth that was on Harold William Icenogle's memorial is actually Harold Dean Icenogle's birth date. Maybe the cemetery did confuse them, but I wanted to let you know that because of your help we both have our Harold Icenogle's in the cemetery with the correct information.

Good thing it took me a couple days to get back to you.. it looks like your pictures are showing up now. That was very strange; I've never seen that happen on here before. Anyway, it seems to be resolved! Thank you!

Houseman stone
Before I left work yesterday the sun went behind the clouds, so I got a good picture of the stone. But you still could not read all the writing on it. I left the rubbing on, if you want it off just tell me and I will delete it.

Houseman Requests
Hi Pat, I took a picture per your request, I made several trips to the grave yard for the "perfect" picture. However the monument is always in the shade so I did a rubbing of the engraving. I will go again when the sun is not shinning, maybe that will be better. Once I get the "perfect" lighting i will replace the ones I put on. I just din't want you to think they were not being done.

Hmmmm ... I have no idea why that picture doesn't show up on any of the memorial pages. I can put it on the Kents' pages though.

RE: John Archbold
Yeah! A new cousin. I am putting together what I have on the family. I got stuck on Patrick Archbold, but I did that research about 15 years ago and there is so much more available now. Nancy Ann Archbold seems to be our first common ancestor. I was able to trace the Mary Kent )Patrick's wife) line back to 1666.
