Thank you for the photo. Do you have the plot coordinates, or the nearest grave location to this stone? I might try to see if I can get the marker replaced.

I tried to take the four photos (Lawrence & Russell) you requested - decided to find the cemetery first. It is a relatively small, but very old, cemetery. Many of the headstones are missing or completely unreadable. Sorry I wasn't able to get the photos. Suggest you remove the photo request.

The arc on the lower part says "At Rest" and there is no other writing on the lower part that you can see with the naked eye.

I would still like to see the photo you took of my ancestor after you had cleaned the headstone and debris. I appreciate the time and care you took in trying to locate it. Would you please send me the photo to my email LeslieFamilyHistory@yahoo.com

It looks like a B to me, and it's even more clear when you look at the name of the parents: Adam and Mary Bussell. And there were Bussells in the area at that time.

|Trudy Grein||RE: Harvey H. Hittle|
Thank you Beverly. Harvey was my great grandfather. He was the father of my grandmother, Bernice Hittle Throm. Shortly before my grandmother went into the nursing home she gave a huge box of photos to the wife of another Hittle cousin of mine who is also a genealogist. Over the past few years we've been sorting and identifying with the help of other cousins and trying to get it online. I have several more pictures of Harvey and an aerial view of the Harvey Hittle farm in Goff, Kansas. It's been quite a number of years since I did any Bussell research. I need to work on it again just to update it. If you have an ancestry.com account send me the e-mail you used to sign up and I'll send you an invitation to my private database. If not I'll e-mail you a few of the other photos I have if you send me a note giving me an e-mail address.

Thank you so much for taking photos of my great- grand parents! I know my grandmother Katherie Wendt is buried with them. I will contact cemetery to see if I can add her name to the grave stone. Did not know their son Michael was also buried there.
I really appreciate your willingness to do this.

Have added the entry as you suggested. You may add the photo you took. I must not have made it to that part of the cemetery yet!

Hi there Beverly.
Sorry, It was a long time ago and I was in one of many county libraries or somewhere and came across it. Whenever I came across my surname I would copy it down and put it on Find A Grave. Bud, my notes are really bad. Getting old and very forgetful too.
The "Very Best" to you and all yours, Bud

|Jack McIlrath||RE: Cicero Bussell|
His father is William Westerfield Bussell (1830-1901). Mother: Clarrisa P (Lefler). Both are buried in the same cemetery - no memorial or pictures. If I see an old stone with the light shining just right on it, I take a picture and add a memorial if none is available. That's what happened here. I was at the cemetery for a relative, but ended up taking extra pictures.
