|Barbara Ravetti||Memorial for Robert Mangiante in Canton CT|
Thank you so much for this beautiful photo of my brother's headstone. As I am living in California, I don't get a chance to see it very often. I particularly like the fact that you took the photo after my sister, Bobby's grandson Austin, and I left stones to mark our visit.
Thank you again so very much.

|George Seitz||Dr. Alexander Harris|
The photographs you placed with Alexander S. Harris in Fisherville is not that man. The image portrays the Alexander Harris that is at Jeffersonton. Just trying to avoid confusion. Thank you,

|Janice Dyer Doran||Thank you|
Kelly, thank you, so much, for the transfer of George Humphrey Jr.. I'll notify Elizabeth Tilton and tell her we now have the memorial and see if she has any additinal information she wants to put on his page. Again, I want to thank you, and all the other volunteers on F.A.G., who go out of their way to make this such a wonderful genealogy site as well as a memorial to our ancestors.

|Dick Knowles||Theodore Sedgwick date|
I just fulfilled a request for a photo for Theodore Sedgwick (#68472946) made by Boston Bulldog (#48010595). Since this is your memorial, I want to point out a small date discrepancy- you show death date Dec. 8, 1859 while the stone shows 9 Dec. 1859. I know a stone is as likely to be wrong as many other date sources, but just wanted you to know in case there's any clearer proof of the correct date.

It should be George F Hyland, who is buried at the Veterans cemetery in Fairfield Co, CT listed on the Iwo Jima memorial.
There actually was not George B Hyland killed in WWII according to National Archives.

|Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland||T/5 Edmond C. Wilcox|
Technician 5th Grade Edmond C. Wilcox was a soldier participating in the invasion and battle for Sicily. D-Day for operation Husky was 10 July 1943. He died in July or August 1943 and was buried in the temporary American cemetery GELA in Sicily, where over 1200 young Americans were buried.
He was buried in plot-grave B-19-227 on 2 August 1943 in the GELA Cemetery.
Do you know the date of his death ?
I am writing a book about this temporary cemetery and want to use the picture you took of his grave, can I have your permission.
If you are related and may have documentation/pictures, hope you can share, any information is welcome

|Marianne||Iwo Jima Memorial|
I was just reviewing my entries on our website www.SOSIwoJima.com. You did such a wonderful job listing our 100 servicemen who died on Iwo Jima. I am sure it was a lot of work and you tracked down a tremendous about of information that I never would have had the time to do myself. I can't thank you enough for doing all that work and most of all for making it available to all the families of these men. Now we have a location to add additional info as we have time to track it down. Thank you again and your photos are beautiful!
