 | Photo I want to thank you so much for the photo, but it's the wrong one. I feel terrible telling you this, but your photo belongs on memorial# 95447642. It's a picture of CLAUDIA BRADY RIDDICK, not my CLAUDIA HINES RIDDICK # 35645139. But thank you so much for the effort. It's a great photo and very professional. Thanks again! | Doris Jedacek (Alexander) photo Thank you for looking for Doris' gravesite. She is supposedly buried near a tree in a future forest setting. I hope it wasn't too rugged for you to get there. Was the Foxfield Preserve Cemetery as easy to work with as they sounded like they would be in their e-mail statement to me?Added by seekerJay on Oct 15, 2012 2:49 PM | |

Linda Kirkham Herman
 | John Richardson The grave stone legend on John Richardson's memorial that states he was was scalped by Indians needs to be removed. 1) He attended Little Pigeon Creek Baptist Church in Spencer County at the same time Thomas Lincoln, Nancy Hanks Lincoln, and their son Abraham Lincoln were also attending, starting in 1816. None of the multitudinous biography about Lincoln's childhood in Spencer County mentions dangerous Indians. Richardson died in 1842 and the Indians were not scalping in Indiana at that date. The scalping incident belongs to his wife Nancy Castleman's family. It was Nancy's father Jacob C. Castleman who had been scalped in Davidson County, Tennessee when she was ten years old. Thanks.Added by Linda Kirkham Herman on Jan 22, 2011 1:00 PM | |
