Hi, I'm a volunteer for Find A Grave and a researcher. I do a lot of request for Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg,VA.
I came across your memorial for James Young, that stated he wasn't in Blandford. I have read a lot about Blandford and the Civil War Solders buried there. In 1863 the dead were coming in faster than they could be buried. Names were mix up as well.
Having said that, I came across a James C. Young that was born in Talapoosa Co. Alabama and died 1862. Find A Grave # 104486544. By chance could this be your James Young?

I just added Lottie (Glover) Duce to Find A Grave. On her parents & siblings you have a family tree. Her siblings are Roy O Glover & Lois Glover Buck. They are all buried in Alpine Cemetery in Arkansas. I thought you might want to add the family tree to her Find A Grave. Thanks.

Memorials #55164913, #55164638 & #55159448. These r all listed n the cmt n Texas. They r listed n Liberty hill instead of Liberty Hill. This is suppose to b only 1 cmt not two. I just need u to move them into correct cmt. So please move from current one to Liberty Hill, Bland Lake, San Augustine, San Augustine Texas. It won't change anything except to place in the correct cmt listing.

Yes, I'm related to the Crums. I think the Jones' connection is thru marriage. However, when I'm digging into my line, if I find anything on a person, I try to fix it. OCD!
Here's my line up:
Hiram Calvin Crum
Julia Ann (Crum) Hilburn
Margaret (Hilburn) Gray
Lena (Gray) Seargent
Joseph Seargent Jr
Are you related?

JoAnne, would you mind deleting the picture of the death certificate for Grover from his memorial. I really don't like death certificates posted on memorials. No offense, I just think they can sometimes be hurtful to family members, etc. His memorial # 78859823. Thanks so much, Connie 46984521

Thanks JoAnne :) Yes! we are related through Daniel Tubbs b. 1794. Daniel Tubbs & his first wife, Matilda Sanders b. 1796 had 4 children before Matilda passed in 1839. (1) Mary Ann b. 1818 (2) Sidy Emeline b. 1820 (3) Samuel Sanders b. 1824 (4) Daniel Lee b. 1827. Your ancestor Mary Ann was big sister to my ancestor, Samuel Sanders Tubbs. I'd be interested in anything you have online regarding how Mary Ann fared in the Civil War. Samuel S. Tubbs served in the 5th & 6th Alabama Infantry of the Confederate Army. Captured with his son John, within spittin' distance of their home in 1864, they were marched to Nashville. Forwarded, imprisoned at Rock Island Illinois: Samuel until the close of the Civil War. His son, John Tubbs who also served in the 6th Alabama Infantry, died at Rock Island in 1864. John was 20 years old. *** Regarding Euline Coven, Colvin, I believe Coven is correct. My source, The Tubbs Connection by Billy Glen Tubbs et al, shows her father as Coven. Eoline was the name of one of my great aunts, it seems somewhat popular in the South. We pronounced it ee'-lynn.

I have made the changes and updated her parent's links on her page. Thanks for the info. I am just taking as many photos of different graves at Mt. Pleasant as I van because it is the nearest to our home. I would like to get every gravestone documented in this cemetery. If any family member wants ownership of Lila Fiveash's memorial, feel free to let me know and I will transfer it to them.
