A photo of Amanda BOYS's stone, please
Alex,

I've just found my gr-gr-aunt Amanda (Sack) Boys's memorial - THANK YOU SO MUCH! - and would very much like to have a photo of the stone (if one exists).

Amanda was my Ggf Sack's oldest sister who "fell off the planet" after the 1860 census of Clermont Co, OH, along with her then-3-yr-old son, James Wm BOYS. I've been looking for both for 20 years or so, and on a whim today - or one of those "divine interventions" genies experience from time - I decided to look for her here on Find A Grave, and there she was! The SACK and HITE fams had deep ties to Rush Co, but because she was last "seen" in Ohio, it didn't occur to look in Rush Co despite Amanda's SACKs and HITEs's decades-long ties there.

I'll head over to rushcogs now and see if there are any more happy surprises is store. As for the photo, I won't mind a bit if it has to wait until the Spring thaw!

Have a great day!
Joanna

Peggy Fairchild
Jane Richeson
She is my 5th g grandmother and a daughter of a Rev. War Soldier, Capt. William Levi Bobbitt. A few years ago a beautiful photo of her headstone was included with her memorial. It was very interesting as it included several types of script and various spacing of the letters. The photo has been removed. When I visited the cemetery, the stone is barely legible. Could you repost the photo? Of note, her last name was "Richardson," but apparently the engraver could not spell it.

Hi ..Here is the obit for Robert Cave 33526740
thanks so much
Vickie

On last Wednesday evening, [20 Jan 1921] Mr. Robert Cave, died at his home in this county. He was born December 19th, 1843, and was married to Miss Cathrine Robertson December 9th, 1870. To this union were born four children, Mrs. Emmer W. Richerson, Lula E. Arvin, Lizzie F. Brockman and Thomas B. Cave, all residing in this county.
Some fifty-five years ago, he professed faith in Christ and united with the Baptist church, and since lived a conscientious Christian life. As a citizen and neighbor, he was honest and upright, and won for himself an honor of respect of his acquaintances. His funeral was held at the Palestine Church by Rev. Wm. Kirtley and the burial took place at the cemetery near that place. To the surviving relatives, friends, and members of the family we extend our sincere sympathy.

Guy Offutt's Parents
Sir,

In October I sent an edit request to ask that you would update the memorial for Guy Offutt Find A Grave Memorial# 36954259, so that he could be linked to his parents W. W. Offutt Find A Grave Memorial# 36954277,
and Eva Clevenger Offutt Find A Grave Memorial# 36954284

So far the memorials are not linked, nor have I heard anything from you if you wanted information to back up my request.

Please let me know if there is a reason that you do not want to do this.

Thanks

Dave O.

Gilbert Richey
Milroy Cemeterys
I believe that there are two cemeteries in the Milroy area, one, the Milroy Cemetery, and two, the Thomas Cemetery. Do you know if this is correct. I have ancestors (from the time Indiana became a state)who are listed in one or the other of these cemeteries. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Gil Richey

IRA C HILLIGOSS
Hello,

I noticed that you put a tombstone picture on Find A Grave for Ira C. Hilligoss, I had already posted one so I really didn't understand someone putting it on again!

Anyway, are you related to Hilligoss'?
Ira C. is a distant relative of mine, I carry Hilligoss blood, through my paternal grandmother who was a Hilligoss.

Just wondering, I think if there is a tombstone picture on already, that the need of another one is not warranted, it leaves room for someone to put other pictures on, if they have an actual picture of the person etc..

Thanks
Nola

Susan K. Olsen
Martha Cochrel, Ormes Cem.
Hello, Mr. Wesling--
It would appear that you created two memorials for this Martha Cochrel, who died 24 Feb. 1885. Both memorials have the same photo and information, but different numbers.
What's my interest in Martha? She was the first wife of my great-grandfather's brother, Thomas Cochrel. He lived in Rush County as a boy but relocated to Curtisville, Tipton Co., around 1885. My great-grandfather, Mark Samuel Corel, was his brother.
Just wondered: why the two memorials for Martha?
Thanks for taking a photo of her stone.
Sincerely,
Sue Olsen
Madison, WI
