A HUGE THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for all of the work you have put into the Barger/Barringer and other lines I am still reading through. I sincerely appreciate you. You've compiled fantastic histories and I have loved reading them tonight.

RE: Minor Chambers
My understanding is that we are not linked by DNA to the Joseph Chambers line. Any other thoughts? Thanks.

Yes. Related.
David lee chambers, Edwin Jasper Chambers is my great grandfather.

I understand there is some yDNA genetic testing being done to determine some lineage.

RE: Cunningham in Dean Cemetery
Larry,

You don't have to do anything for the transfer, I'll just do it.

Did you see that John Wallace, mentioned in R. Cunninghams will, is buried in the cemetery also?

Can you attach your Robert Cunningham memorial to the Dean Cemetery? Then I'll delete the one I have, and attach the photo of his footstone.

RE: Thanks for the Cunningham photo post
I'll post it for you Larry. I've attached a few children to Agnes also. Take a look at all of the interments in the Dean Cemetery. You'll find one for R.C. I think this is the footstone for Robert Cunningham's grave. There has been a lot of damage at this cemetery over the past two hundred years. It's been extremely neglected. Would you like Hannah, Rebbecca, and Samuel Cunningham tranferred to your management?

RE: Agness Cunningham
Larry,

There's a good chance that Robert Cunningham is at the cemetery also. Here is my email address, chunxtm400@yahoo.com Lets get off the message board, and straighten all of this out. Your bios are so detailed. I'd like to remove the memorials that I have for the Cunninghams, and get yours into the Dean cemetery!

Agness "Nancy" Cunningham
Hey Larry,

Thought you might find this interesting, and maybe we can put a bit of the puzzle back together. I see that you created a memorial for Agness Cunningham 1757-1841 #32864126 a few years back. You have her burial listed as unknown. I think I have found her for you. Have a look at memorial #40310093. She is in a small cemetey I am working with near Lyndon, Ohio.

Best regards,

RE: Jack Sweeney
Hi Larry,

I just talked to one of the major Somerset County photographers & she told me she has taken photos of every stone in the Old Somerville Cemetery and has posted them to Find A Grave. Many of the stones are deterioratd to the point of being unreadable. This may explain why the photo request for your Maria has gone unfulfilled for several years.

I just had a lovely visit with Robert & Julia Carr whom you probably know also. Julia has a bum knee and I took them over some blackberry cake I made this morning. It is indeed a small world!

RE: Maria Brokaw Memorial Page
it doesn't matter who requests the photo - only one photo request per stone can be made - unless the photo is of poor quality -- then you can make another request.

RE: Maria Brokaw Memorial Page
I'm not sure what you want to change -- there is a general cemetery photo which is ok -- just request a stone photo and it will appear first.

RE: Maria Brokaw
Hello Larry,

I assume you mean Maria Polly Stryker Brokaw #32870964 rather than the other 2 Maria Brokaws now assigned to the New Somerville Cemetery?

That being the case you (as the person who created the memorial page) can use the EDIT button to correct any info you originally posted.
See "Help With Find A Grave" if you have any questions.

I did not post my photo on your page and can't remove it. I am in Virginia and cannot take a photo of the stone at this time. You can put out a Photo Request and someone in the area of the cemetery may be able to take one for you. Good luck!

You probably know my DAR friend Carol Sweeney's husband Jack who is very active in the VA SAR organization.

Hello. I was wondering if you knew where exactly Joris' and his wife's headstones are in the cemetery. I was planning a trip to New York and want to make a stop at the cemetery.

Thank You.

RE: Catalyntje Rapalje Memorial Page Sponsorship
You are quite welcome. I have sponsored several pages of the most important of my ancestors. These 2 were a surprise. I didn't even think to check findagrave thinking they were so long ago.

Thank "you" for the information and the memorial.

Jerry Helm
Elizabeth Helm 1790
Hi COUSIN: We have spoken before and I have been going back over many of my records to see if there are errors. I wanted to see when Polly Helm was born, or at the very least estimate it since she married her husband in 1810. I am guessing her birth would be 20+ years prior, which would be around 1790. Problem is her mother had died 3 years before that. That makes Elizabeth Helm's birth in question. Can you shed any light on this potential problem. Thanks for listening. Jerry Helm, Lakeland, FL.

Do you have a birthdate for her? I figured up about June 10, 1830. Is that what you have?
Thank you

Sheila
Thompson
Hello Again, Larry,

You certainly put quite a bit of time and effort into the Thompson memorials. I think that's great and will leave a lasting legacy to the dearly departed, as well as a wealth of information for the present and following generations.

As for me, have roots in Washington County, but I am not at all related to the Thompson's that I know of. A question came up earlier today concerning another member and a Thompson / Wendt connection we are trying to resolve, which led me to add the Blair Thompson's into the database, which led me to notice your work and submissions.

You see, I was looking for my own gg grandparents and stumbled onto the Washington County transcripts. I found my gg grandparents in German Cemetery, and my eyes got real big when I saw there were over 800 listed burials on the transcript, but only 300+ listed in Find A Grave.

It turns out that this is the case with many of the Washington County burials / cemeteries as relates to Find A Grave, so I am slowly but surely plugging this info in and requesting links and corrections as I go. I guess I'll drive people crazy with all my requests, but this is Find A Grave and the idea is to find people. :-) I don't want others to be like I was, not knowing where their family is buried

If you want to handle the Thompson's, I will shift them to you. As family, you can probably add to them where I cannot.

Let me know, and keep up the good work,

Sheila

Hi Mr. Larry,

I saw where you posted pics and maintained some memorials on the Thompson family at the Blair Cemetery (Washington County, NE) and thought I'd mention that I added a few more Thompson family members to that cemetery just now.
