Find A Grave Correction: John Engles
John Henry Engles, #139208459

I received your Suggest A Correction (SAC) email transfer request, that did not include your relationship. Since I had already responded to your previous message on your profile page, there was no need to send another request. Your transfer request is still denied.

It doesn't matter that you think it should be transferred, Find A Grave states otherwise.

Also, I do not have to answer that type of question.

For future reference, when requesting a transfer, you must state your exact relationship to the deceased, per Find A Grave.

RE: transfer memorial
Your request for the transfer of John Henry Engles, #139208459 is denied.

You did not follow Find A Grave procedure for requesting a transfer, which is listed at the top of my profile page.

Also, your request is out of guidelines (OOG) per the Find A Grave FAQ.

The memorial for Caroline Greinus, #79886487 is not one of my memorials.

Have a Merry Christmas.

RE: Thanks
I can't give you the exact plot number of James Powers' marker because the cemetery is not willing to give me any information about the location of markers to help me fulfill photo requests.
I've been spending 4-5 hours a week all summer going through the over 4,000 markers to try to find people myself. All I can tell you is that Mr. Powers' marker was about in the middle of the area called Garden of the First Miracle in section 12. There are no ground markers for numbers of plots in this cemetery.

RE: Ellinghaus and Powers
Hi Bob,
This cemetery has been unwilling to give me location information to fulfill photo requests that have been sent me, despite multiple attempts, so I am just going through the cemetery myself looking for names on the 2 year 80 photo request backlog for this cemetery. However, there are 4,333 braves in this cemetery, so it will probably take a very long time to get through the entire cemetery. I have alphabetized the list and am photographing graves on the list as I find them.
All I can tell you about the location of the Ellinghaus graves is that they were in the Garden of the Good Shepherd section of the cemetery. You will have to call the cemetery to find out more specific location information. I have John Powers' name on my list and will photograph his marker when I find it, but it might take a while. Sorry about the wait.

RE: thanks

I just discovered that my computer locked up while uploading your cousin's pictures, and some how didn't get back to the rest of them. I'm uploading them now...

RE: Harry & Ethel Engles
I will be glad to transfer them to you. Please make your request using the edit function on each memorial. That way I will have both their memorial numbers and your user number. If you have any other family in that cemetery I will be glad to transfer them to you. I am only closely related to the Bowens in that cemetery.

I just now found this sight and this information and as his granddaughter I would like to take a moment to personally thank you for this beautful memorial. I've learned more about my grandfather from reading this than I had gathered during my short time with him. Thank you so much!

RE: Ellinghauses in Parsons
Thanks for the response. There are A LOT of Adkins in the cemetery. Unfortunately I am not in the area that often so I won't likely be back for quite a while. I'll keep it in mind though!

Ellinghauses in Parsons
Hi Bill,

I found your Ellinghauses in Salisbury today, and I will be uploading them shortly. They were in a plot area that was clearly owned by the Adkins family. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the Adkinses. But there's a bunch of them. I didn't have all my stuff printed out so I didn't know the relation until later.

RE: Theodore Ellinghaus
I will make my rounds there again soon. I will see what I can "dig" up.
