grave # 38961010
Ed,

Can you also add to Grave #38961010 (William Murphy) the fact that grave #38960816 is his wife?

(#38960816 is Marie Murphy, maiden name Patek, according to the Cuyahoga County Historical Marriage License Index - William and Marie were married April 25, 1908.)

Their daughter's ashes, those of Doris Murphy Dickerson, are right nearby - close to Urvan Murphy's grave.

The big column
Mr. Marotta,

Thanks for adding the William Murphy links. I'm going to try to find out what the big column says (with a possible "rubbing", p[ending approval) - it's the large column with the "Murphy" at the base right behind the Urvan Muprhy grave.

Tadych at St Adalberts
thanks so much for posting Mary and Vincent Tadych. I have a correction for you on Mary - she is my husbands aunt - the last name is Bochin not Bochim and her parents were James W Bochin and Mary Hoffman Bochin of Cleveland Ohio. I am looking for her son James Tadych who is also deceased. It shows he was widowed and I can't find a wife on ancestory or other sites so be on the lookout for him as well! Thanks so much - we really appreciate what you do.

J Hartford
Husband of Emma C Lane
Good morning Mr Marotta
I have found my 2X Great Grandmother on find a grave thanks to you! You photographed her Find A Grave Memorial# 38026962 and listed her Obit. I have information suggesting that her husband, Dawson Asa Lane (1878-1931) is also buried in the Brooklyn Heights Cemetery. His name is not listed on the Find a Grave site. I see that her headstone reads "Mother". Do you know if there is a "Father" headstone nearby? Is there a chance that you can check on your next visit to Brooklyn Heights? Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Family Finder
Many Thanks
I cannot express enough in words how grateful I am for the picture of the marker of Andrew Peters and his family. This answered so many questions for me and validated the information I gathered about his wives. In a family book, his son Sherman was mentioned. I knew he died as an infant, but it is so amazing to be able to put dates with his name. And know we know that he lost another son in infancy as well.

Thank you, thank you - so very much!

Pictures of Crawford graves
Hi Ed,

I am trying to get pictures of the graves of my great-grandparents George and Clarissa Hoadley Crawford in Woodvale Cemetery. I talked to Marilyn who's adopted their graves, but she lives a long way away and can't get the pictures. My brother and I are trying to put together a documentary on them before our family reunion in June. Is it convenient for you to get out there and take the pix? We'd sure appreciate it.

Ed, just found the picture of Grave stone of Justus Osborn in Girard Cemetery in Erie Co. PA. He is my ancestor. He was to have been buried next to his 2nd wife Lois. Was there a head stone for Lois Osborn, died 1830.

Also the picture of Hannah VanCamp was helpful, she is Justus's daughter, I did not have her death date. Thanks, Steve mecham, Clovis, CA

My father is also looking for a picture of the grave of his brother, Josef Tatka who was buried on a different cemetery. Maybe one day I will be lucky to find them too.
