William and Elizabeth (nee Rodgers) had a son William who was born about 1822. "W.C." is their son, but it is unknown whether he lived a year or two or that he was born and died on the same date.

Your GG Grandmother Ella's Parents
Hi Leah,

I have been working on my family tree and see your grandmother Ella was married to a Greenhaw.

You asked if anyone had any info on her parents to contact you.

According to Ancestry 1880 Census for La Grange, Troup, Georgia, United States, her parents were Sallie E. Cowan and Robert L. Cowan.

I am also sending you an invitation to a group I created and adding possible family members to the private group. If your e-mail is not correct on here, please contact me at smalloni@live.com.

Thanks and hope this helps. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

Blessings,

Sonia Malloni

Carolyn
Maple Hill cemetery
Hi, was just strolling through some cemeteries and came across some pics you had taken at Maple Hill, and just had to share my thoughts. Maple Hill is such a beautiful cemetery, both the old and the new, and is well maintained. I think this place is where my interest in cemeteries was first peaked, as I lived up the street from there as a child (on Wells Ave.) and twice a day, everyday, we would pass it on our way to school. It caught my interest right from the start and we would often stroll through there even when there was no snow, as a lot of ppl did back then. I would read in fascination the names on the markers, wondering what the person was like and what kind of life they had lead-thus, my interest in geneology was started as well, even at such a young age. I remember we would stand at awe, and a little frightened, at the different small mauseleums they have, thinking that the dead somehow "lived" in these small "houses"! Now, I have a few extended family members resting there, so I still visit "my first love" from time to time, and still have the same fascination as I walk about in awe, still wondering about all the ones resting there. I enjoy going through the cemeteries here where I live also, but MH will always be special to me. Thanks for letting me share this with you. You dedication to findagrave shows, and I know it is very much appreciated by a lot of ppl who share the same interests as we do. Happy graving!
Carolyn
