Working on my Cain line this morning and came across the memorial for Alice. I added a picture I had. Hope you don't mind. Don't know if you have any of her. Have a good day. Laura

James Coston
Cunningham Cemetery, corsicana
Evening Billie, I just returned from "trying" to locate and get the fotos U requested but I have a problem. If I try to get there from the East I have to pass thur State of Texas property (the reform school for lack of a better term) and they told me no trespass without prior permission but couldn't tell me who to talk to for that permission . If I try to get there from the South, thur the business on hwy 31, nobody was around, plenty of vehicles and I was not gonna past thru the last gate into the pasture (the way the gps wanted to send me) because I'm not interested in a trespassing charge and as I carry a handgun and that complicates things. If U can give me directions or email me a map for an uncomplicated route then I'll give it another shot the next time I am in Corsicana.
Later, James Coston

Bournias in Texas
I did a little side research on the Bournias family in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham (still curious as to the identity of the "baby boy" in their section - no concrete data, but some leads...see my notes on his bio).

If you do a search for Bournias in Texas, I found some death certificates on for some buried in Victoria and added them to FindAGrave. I have put in photo requests for their headstones.

My curiosity can lead me in strange directions sometimes.

George Norwood Dilworth

I'm confused about a photo you added to the Find A Grave memorial for George Norwood Dilworth. You added a photo of him but left a caption that read 'George Norwood Collett' on it??? Can you fix that? Interested if you know anything about the adult life of George Norwood Dilworth. I was told that he and Alberta Heath divorced, then remarried again.

Cunningham Family Cemetery
Hello Billie,
I'm just now seeing your message. Thank you so much for info regarding the Cunningham Cemetery. It's so helpful. When I go, I will most definitely look out for the names you are seeking. I don't have an idea about when I will go but would love doing clean up and showing some honor here. I will probably wait until I can take my best friend with me so I'm not out there alone. Do you have the sense that it would be safe for two females to work in that area? Is it isolated pretty much all the time or do you know?
Have a wonderful Christmas holiday.
Helen Davies/Dallas, TX.

Cunningham Cemetery
Hello Billie,
The Cunningham's are my direct line and after researching my ancestry more, I just learned about the Cunningham cemetery. I know there are other Cunninghams buried there. It was good to see your post about your trip there and to learn about the overgrowth. I appreciated that so much and all of your effort!
I have numerous questions for you since this is very new to me.
How can I gain more information regarding doing some work there? If you remember that place specifically, could a couple of people spend a few days there, with some hand tools and do some clearing, or is it something that needs machinery to clear? Also, do you know if the cemetery is owned by the county and how I'd get permission to work there or would that be necessary? I am guessing that my ancestor, Rev Jeremiah Cunningham, may have been instrumental in developing the cemetery and I know he's buried there. His wife was probably buried there as well. I've also been seeking someone in my ancestry for a very long time and had hoped they might be there as well. I was so excited to learn about the cemetery and that Rev Jeremiah Cunningham was buried there. I'd love to visit there but I want to insure it would be worth the trip, since I'm a distance away.
Thank you for your time here and for all of your efforts! God will bless you greatly.

RE: Picture
Thank you so much Billie, I will go to the library. All of those Lott's buried in Freestone County, Texas are related to me, my Mother's family came from Mississippi to Texas, my Great Great Grandparents was Benjamin James Lott, they went to Denton, Texas, and Tolliver and Vail Jackson Lott's children went to Freestone County, Texas.
It's interesting to see how many of them were named Toliver, Teford, James T, John T, and you can really get them mixed up. I have a cousin that lives in France and she has photo's of our Lott families. We find pictures of other cousins and their families, but we don't have a picture of Benjamin James Lott or his wife Nancy Ann Smith. I appreciate you help.

Bournias in Prairie Lea
Hello, I saw the tokens you left on the Bournias family's memorials in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. I was wondering if you knew anything about this little boy, buried next to the Bournias family.

Rosa Collett Dilworth-Oakwood Cem
Billie, I noticed you put up a photo for Rosa Collett Dilworth buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, Travis Co. TX. Do you have any photos of their son George Norwood Dilworth born 18 June 1902 died 16 June 1958 who married Alberta Eva Heath born 25 Jan 1896?

this is definitely Mack and Zada Browne - we have an extensive amount of Abbott family pictures, that used to belong to my great Aunt who knew everyone. Are you related to the Brownes?

Find A Grave needs to do something about that, guess it's a Christmas special, HA !!! Anyway, I will only click on this once and then close Find A Grave, hope you get the explaination, James Coston
