Got your message asking to remove my addition. I am sorry about duplicating. Thought I checked and didn't find it...my mistake. However, I have added the family connections; he is my brother-in-law; wondering if you could delete yours since I have added all the family stuff. Then if you like I can transfer it to you. It is obviously my mistake but would appreciate your consideration since I have already added so much family information to him. Thanks for your consideration....and again I apologize. I don't usually do this.

|Anonymous||Marker Photo Added!|
John Evans, thank you very much for your service.
The photo that you recently did of the marker for John and Edie Collins is much appreciated. Many family members are unable to visit the grave in person. But, now, with your help, they can visit online.

I came across your find-a-grave profile and a reference to James Northam between you and another volunteer. I have Northam family from Virginia and North Carolina and am interested in other researchers who may be interested in sharing information.
I am a find-a-grave volunteer but did not find you that way. I was doing a Google search and came across a link to some messages. I merely followed the trail to you.
Would appreciate any communication to see if we have perhaps family in common, if you are a Northam researcher.

|Carolyn Rogers||Richard Sullivan Family Cemetery|
Richard Sullivan is my GG Grandfather. I visited this site many years ago and heard that they were going to build a subdivision around it. Is the graveyard still at the same place or did they move it?

|Katherine Weatherington||Silent Grove 1937 survey|
I read in your notes on Edith Hewett (memorial # 104716678) that she was not listed in the 1937 survey for Silent Grove Cemetery. Do you have this survey, and would you mind sharing? It would be great, if so. :) Thanks a lot!

|Steven Wassen||Where is my grandma and great grandma graves at?|
I was up there this past February and I couldn't find my grandmas and great grandmas grave sites. There looked as if someone was buried on top of them. I hope that this isn't the case.
There names are Lillian Riley wassen and queenie garriss

Thank you for your hard work adding these memorials!
The Subject memorial is for Carrie Faircloth Grainger Barnhill, but the headstone says Carrie G. Faircloth. I have been looking for a headstone for Carrie Grainger Faircloth. Her husband Benjamin Luke Faircloth (1900-1973) is also buried in this cemetery. My question is the last name of Barnhill -- it is on the memorial you added, but not on the headstone, as shown in the picture added by Mr. Vaught. Do you have additional information? Did Carrie marry a Barnhill after Benjamin's passing? If so, do you know why Barnhill does not appear on her headstone?
Thank you for any information you may have!

I am sorry for his passing. He did an amazing job in his lifetime documenting cemeteries and our ancestors. Can you tell me who now updates those pages that were created/managed by him? I believe you worked with him on a lot of it and you continue to do so. THANK YOU! Thank you also for your always prompt updates. You are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for changing the name to match the stone. Take a look at the Forums (titled Duplicate Memorial) and see a lengthy discussion of actual whereabouts of moved cremains and the stone, plus possible merger or deletion of one of the cemeteries. Complicated. So you may be hearing more.

I am not sure if I have the right person but I think I met you a few weeks back at Quantico Cemetery. Are you still looking for someone to take photos for you since you are departing the area?

|lpjohnson||Vernell J Lewis|
According to Ancestry.com, my husband's aunt is buried here. However, according to the US Social Security Applications and Claims Index 1936-2007, her date of birth was 21 January 1929, (the grave marker lists it as 21 January 1930). Ancestry.com lists another Vernell Lewis as being born 21 January 1930 who is black, but my husband's aunt was white. We do not know much about his aunt, so it's hard to confirm who is actually buried here. Lillian Houston took pictures of each individual grave marker, but the email listed with the photos does not work, so I have not been able to contact her. I can't tell you exactly where the grave is located in the cemetery, but the link with the photo is here (her grave marker is #27 in the row of pictures): http://duplin.lostsoulsgenealogy.com/cemetery/devotionalgardenscempics37.htm
My question is whether that is a double grave and if so, what is the name on the companion side of the grave marker of Vernell J Lewis? Would someone please take a picture of the companion side of the grave marker? I'm hoping this may help with the identification of which Vernell Lewis is actually buried here. Thanks.
