Blalock gravestones
Is the gravestone for baby Lora Blalock (photo on site) near the gravestones (or join gravestone) for Henry and Ruth/Ruthy Blalock? Thank you.

RE: Wrong Grave Marker Photo
Hello- the picture is correct. If you look up Clarence Coffin you will see the same picture. It is probably the only stone on the plot. I would of added it to everyone buried there so people would know that. Thx!

It happens to all of us sooner or later. Just wanted to give you a heads up.

Added by babs on Oct 04, 2013 8:18 PM

If you make memorials for the ones that do not have a stone, please let me know the memorial numbers and I will enter the lot picture as their picture. But please do not make a request since I have already gotten the pictures.

Neither of these gentlemen have markers. I have posted a photo to both memorials so that you have idea of where they are buried.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Mother of R L Walker
May I suggest correcting the name of mother for Richard Logan Walker to Martha Logan. William Walker married Martha Logan. This is my family

Not quite understanding what you want me to do as I have his mother as Martha. Please let me know as I really like my memorials to be as accurate as possible

Margaret Walker Mathews
Her grave is in Oakview in Fort Valley and her parents were George and Annie MacDonell Mathews.

Her father's death date was 1925 not 1927 as is written on his page.

Could you please make these changes?

Thank you. A descendant of George and Annie Mathews.

Vera Hightower
This morning was cool enough for me to go back and coincidentally the crew had weed-whacked all 12 markers in her lot. So I got the photos.

I think most already have pages but I will add photos to them. In this lot are:
Charles M Bagwell 1/19/1880-5/25/1959
Loubee H Bagwell 1/26/1881-6/4/1971
Catherine Logan Berry 9/24/1924-12/2/2005
George H Berry 8/3/1922-6/22/1987
Samuel M Berry 8/9/1918-9/7/1982
Lillian H Berry 3/29/1896-5/6/1985
Martha R Hightower 3/2/7/1899-9/30/1988
Minnie H Hightower 5/18/1873-4//28/1956
Charles C Hightower 5/22/1870-8/3/1959
Charles Robert Hightower 12/16/1910-3/30/2006
Anna Theresa Sullivan 12/9/1978-11/10/1979

4 of these did not have pages and I will just make them. I can transfer them if you want. The others had pages but the photos are not great, so I added mine.

Vera Hightower in Westview Cemetery
I was at Westview and saw from a distance a monument for Hightower. I remembered your request and walked up closer. There at least 10 markers surrounding the monument for Hightower but they are all completely covered by thick Bermuda grass. The first one I briefly uncovered was Vera. So when I have more time and when it's cooler, I will be going back. It's going to take a lot of work to uncover them. In the meantime, can you call the office and find out who the other at least 7-9 Hightowers are in that lot. (All the same lot). And if they don't have pages, it will help me if you could create pages and send photo requests for each. thanks.

Westview Cemetery
I see your photo request for Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. If you would please call the office at 404-755-6611 and request the section and lot numbers, I will go and look for you. The office wants to charge me for that information. The cemetery is massive and if I have a section number it will help narrow the search. Thanks.

This grave is not located at this site. The only person there is buried in his back yard.

New Salem Cemetery
I completed this cemetery last summer. There are many unmarked graves

My pleasure. I enjoyed seeing her nickname and that she was so special.

What about the Deans? They must be related.

Got a question for you.
How does the process work if an individual is inactive on F.A.G. and we need to link them up ? ie Memorial No 20992177 for Charles G. Gray. The originator is Bonnie. Her info may be in error as stated. Just your thoughts

Added by Bob Maynard on Jun 12, 2013 10:30 PM

You're welcome! His daughter was married to my great great grandfather. James Carlton.

I am so very sorry that I did not get a picture of the full stone. I have it on my "to do" list to take when I go back to that cemetery. I will put it on Gordon Douglas's memorial.

You are more than welcome! It has been so much fun spending time with my kids doing this. Who'd have ever thought that they would have fun in a cemetery!!
