Denise Rains Willis
RE: Samuel Rains
Thank you for the information and unlinking Lydia and Samuel Rains. I am researching this part of my family tree and debated for awhile as to link them or not. I think that all of the Rains graves in this cemetery are related but some of the dates do not correspond to my family information so I appreciate the follow up. Thanks again!

Porzel Family
Hello! You look like you might be related somehow on the Porzel side, since you added information on John and Margaret Porzel. I am related through their daughter Catherine, who married Caspar Berlin. Their daughter, also Catherine (married a Crafton), is my great grandmother. I have pictures of her and my grandmother, but nothing farther back. I would love to hear anything you know. I collaborated some with a Bud Porzel, who I believe will be contacting you as well.
P.S. is the best way to reach me!

RE: Andrew Stiles (#70517830)
Hi, I see you got in touch with that other contributor about the incorrect parental links. She sent me a note asking me to remove the links from his record. If you have the correct links, can you go to his record (and the record of anyone else in the family who is incorrectly linked) and, via the Edit tab, send me the correct links? If that's not possible, just let me know. Thanks. ...Fred

RE: Andrew Stiles (#70517830)

I am so sorry. I must have mixed up Andrew Sr. with his son. Barclay and Hannah are Andrew Junior's grand parents. I don't know how I could have made this mistake because I don't even know when Andrew Sr. died. I am researching all Stiles in the area and am usually very careful. Thank You for catching this. I have already contacted Fred and he will remove Barclay and Hannah.

Thank You,
Patty Elison

Hi, It looks like all of the additional information that was added to the memorial records for the members of that family were provided by Findagrave contributor Patricia Elison #47747640. I did not verify any of the info before approving the edits she submitted. One of you can let me know if I need to correct anything.

FYI, my wife has a Stiles ancestor... Kesia Stiles English, buried in Willow Grove Cemetery in Salem County, NJ. I have very little info on her.

Thanks. ...Fred

I am always happy to provide my sources! I got it from the 1880 census. If you would prefer more proof than that, don't confirm the changes.

RE: Clorinda and Jose Ramon Cigarran

Very sorry but yes by mistake I posted the wrong picture to Rosenda Cigarran's memorial. When I removed the picture it also removed the request. Please re-enter it so it's will be on the list. I was unable to find her headstone. However, the cemetery has an infant section that has several unreadable headstones. I'll do my best to go back and attempt a rubbing on the unreadable markers. However, I'm do to leave the area in the next few weeks, I'm here on a 6-month tour, so no guarantees.

I sent the information and pictures to your email, but I signed it Isabeaume instead of Shawdau - so you would know who it was from - sorry! that's my other name.

Figured Out Some More
The Bible was written in by different people, it looks like - beside William Homer Albaugh's name it says "father." He was born Jan. 25, 1871. Then it says Ester, born Feb. 6, 1881. Then there is another William born March 26, 1899.

William H. Albaugh died Nov. 9, 1923, that might be the date you're looking for. Marguerite Albaugh died 1903. Flora Ellen Albaugh died Jan. 1906, Nora Mae died Dec. 1907, Ivan Ray died Feb. 16, 1919, Pearl Albaugh died Aug. 17, 1915, Ethel Gillespie died Dec. 15, 1960, and Ester Albaugh died Dec. 18, 1964.

I still have 9 death dates and 12 birth dates to write to you - Cora Belle Erwin Motsinger died Nov. 8, 1936 - that says she was "Dad's sister." Ida Belle Erwin Baldwin died Oct. 7, 1966 - that says "my sister." Elmer Erwin died Nov. 18, 1921 - that says "Dad's Bro."

There is also a picture, but it has been xerox'd so I don't know how it will come out. I wish the Bible hadn't gone in the garage sale - my sister had it for years.

RE: Lizzie Culbreath Erwin and George Erwin
The book said George Erwin - His Book - Crab Orchard, IL - 20 July 1896. Then it says and Francis Erwin - her book. Ida B Erwin - her book, and Raymond Erwin - Ida and Raymond are in a child's handwriting.

There's a holy matrimony page with George Erwin of Crab Orchard and Lizzie Culbreath of Crab Orchard on May the 6th, 1891 at 8:00 p.m. by John Bourne. Witness: J Campell and R. O. Clarinda.

More to Come.

I do not care if I get credit. If you want to just copy and place it there yourself, you are welcome to do it. I'm not in it for "points." I love genealogy and I'm fascinated with cemeteries, so I do this merely to help others.

RE: Byron Cloyd Bryner
Hello and yes, thank you, that would be great if you could email me the photo. You can send it to me at this email address: I'll take a look at it and make my best guess as to whether it's the same person - I assume you already have done so and think it is, right?

Are you from Peoria and/or do you have some family relationship to Mr. Bryner? I'm just wondering, from pure interest and curiosity, how you happened to come across the picture.

Thanks again,

Jeff Davidson

While going through my messages on find a grave. Getting ready to delete. I remembered why I kept one of yours. I had mentioned there being a number for Oak Ridge Cem. We were wrong, no number. There is an address though: Gil Dameron, 669 Windy Hill Rd., Elsberry, Mo. 63343. Write him a letter. He may have a list/info of all buried in cem. Good luck

Bravender & Wilson Families

Just posted photos for the Bravender family requests that you had in Burtonville Cemetery, Quebec. Note they share a gravestone with the Pearson family.

I also posted a photo for Betsey Clark Wilson. The death date for her husband -Joseph Wilson differs from what is shown on the monument - see photos. Please advise if this is the correct Joseph Wilson.

Best regards

Your welcome. Thanks for looking into Martha Wilhite and for the updates.

Added by Krauss/Gronek on May 29, 2015 8:30 AM

Have done some photo request in Oak Ridge Cem. Sorry did not locate other two Triplett's. Have added memorials and photo's for others that are there also. There is a Martha Frances Willhite with 11-12-1921 stone in front of a Triplett stone. I've added her memorial, but haven't looked into it yet. Do you know who she is? If you find she's not there or hasn't departed yet. Please let me know and I'll remove her memorial. Good luck with your search.
