David, thanks for the headstone pic of C. L. McGar. I was able to then pull up all the McGar's in Texas and get a better idea of this branch of the family that ended up in Texas. Dar

|Ron||RE: that's crap|
cool... just little frustrated because I looked. Even now if you search it doesn't find anything. They need to do something about that. That may be one of the reasons I see so many complaints on the forum. If I had seen it then I wouldn't have wasted my time. I noticed they still kept my bio... why didn't they use the one you created? Sometimes I really think they could improve some of the way they administer this site. Anyway, it's cool.

I especially like how someone changed it without giving me the opportunity to see it myself. There's no way for me to confirm that yours was first because someone already deleted mine. I know why there's so many dupes or complaints of so many anyway because even now I search for Ronni Chasen and find nothing. Sometimes I think this site is such bs. Well anyway, congrats it's another one for you.

|Tim Wilkinson||RE: Bankhead Grant Cemetery|
I'll have to check with the person who created the memorial. It might be a small family cemetery on private land or something similar. Thank you for looking. I appreciate your time and effort.

|Dan Franklin||Montague Cemetery|
I saw you posted pictures of Montague Cemetery.
Are you doing the management at the site. It says that it is located at Old Waverly. This is not correct.
The location is off FM 1725 just south of the Shell Oil Field Road.

Not that I know of. The past Houston Bledsoes that we are related to are: Murff Bledsoe, Thomas Benton Bledsoe, Felix Aaron Bledsoe. We are directly related to Murff and cousins to Thomas and Felix. Please let me know if David is related.

|Mel||RE: Asa George Washington Walker|
Thanks so much. We are discussing getting a marker for the original Asa. His grave is at the cedar tree near the entrance to the cemetery, I think we need to do a little better than that in remembering our family.

|Mel||Asa George Washington Walker|
David, the photo you added was for the other Asa George Washington Parker. Believe it or not, there are two of them in our crazy family. I have to go out to the cemetery again, but the last time I was there, we still don't have a marker for the first Asa born in 1817. I would appreciate it if you would remove this marker from the memorial. Thanks, Mel.
