Not possible. I live in Wa. state. There is no known stone for Ephraim. The photo of his wifes gravestone will have to do.

Re: Mary Welch Rood
Thank you for your response. It is a challenge when ancestors live in areas before towns and states have not yet been established.

Re: which Burrel wife did I descend from? I descended from Mary Welch Rood and her son Elijah E Rood, his son Eri E Rood and his daughter, Anna and so on. I have no additional info on wife Mathilda.

Regarding death location for Mary Welch Rood. I am interested in the source of this information since North Loup wasn't official until 1877 and Valley County organized in 1873. I am related through her husband Burrel. Thank you

Ridgeway Family
I just discovered that we come from the same tree.
If I have computed correctly you are my 6th cousin once removed.
My tree comes from the brother of Samuel Ridgeway, John Ridgeway that is buried in Laurens Co, SC. Short version: John Ridgeway (killed Rev., John Ridgeway, Jr, William Ridgeway, William W. (Civil War), William Hillard, daghter, Adeline Elizabeth Ridgeway, her son, Theodore Roosevelt Jackson, and then there is me,Wanda Jackson Stewart.
I see that your tree comes from Samuel Ridgeway a son of John Ridgeway that was killed in the Rev.
How many more cousins do we have somewhere that we do not know!
Find A Grave sure helps with our research.

Headstone photos: Rood family buried in Utica, NE cemetery
Hello Phillip,
I was out at our cemetery today (in Utica) and was taking pictures. I am trying to get every stone photographed before winter. Anyway, I ran across the F.M. Rood stone and got on my phone to take a picture and noticed that you had taken a photo with a caption of "stoneless plot". I looked into the other Rood's then and found that headstone too. Our cemetery layout can be kind of confusing, so wanted to be sure to get those posted and let you know there ARE stones if these are your ancestors. Also, could you remove your photos that state they are "stoneless plots"? Thanks so much!

David Main photo request
You are receiving this message because you have submitted a photo request for the above named person(s). I wanted to let you know that I will be traveling to that area from Dallas during the first week of June and I would be able to get the requested photo(s) for you. I do need some help from you tho. While I am in the Chicago area, I intend to get as many names off the list for Evergreen Cemetery as possible. The list is growing every day and is now at 263 requests! Evergreen Cemetery is near and dear to my heart as I have several of my own family members there. If you would please call the cemetery office and obtain the burial plot locations and send them to me, I will for sure get them for you when I go there in June. If everyone could get me the locations I could really get a lot of requests done but I can't do it alone! The office number for Evergreen Cemetery is 708-422-9051. You can leave me a public message with the information, or you may email me at 1963susansmith@gmail.com Please be sure to reference the requested names. Thank you!

RE: Esther Yarns Hobbs (1812-1900)
Esther married Abraham (Abram) Hobbs. Their children were Roxanna (b. 1840), Alma (1847), Ellen (1849), Landis Jane (1851), John (1858). In 1850 they were living in Benton, PA...1860 in Greenfield, Luzerne, PA...1880 in S. Canaan, Wayne, PA.
This is a quick outline from Ancestry and various census. Don't know if this helps.

RE: Robert Isbell
You've submitted a photo request for this memorial. The notes indicate that the request is generated to confirm the existence of this cemetery. I live within blocks of it and have worked in a building erected right beside it. It definitely exists. The sign upon the cemetery is Ye Antientist Burying Ground. Other notations refer to it as the Old Burying Ground and The Ancient Burying Ground. I will be going out momentarily to look for the memorial as you requested and will post pictures of the entire cemetery. I hope this will be helpful to you. Have a great day! Kimberly

RE: RE Samuel Stearns
My husband is John Burnham Stearns II (Find A Grave Memorial# 32176369)
His paternal ancestral lineage from Samuel Jr is through Sam Jr's son, (Lieutenant) Peter Stearns I, Hollis NH soldier in the American Revolution (MA militia) and other battles; followed by

Peter Stearns II, removed from Hollis NH, settled Peru NY;
Peter Stearns III, Chittenden/Franklin County VT farmer (Find A Grave Memorial# 17656635);
John Wesley Stearns, Rutland VT Carpenter/Businessman (Find A Grave Memorial# 87418041);
John Burnham Stearns I, Rutland VT Businessman/Mortician (Find A Grave Memorial# 87418113);
and Burnham Spafford Stearns, Rutland VT Businessman (Find A Grave Memorial# 123074980).

I would appreciate help in locating "unknown" graves of early ancestors, especially Peter Stearns II and Peter Stearns I.

David Main
You have requested a photo of David Main's tombstone in Main Cemetery. I have just found him in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. Memorial #84094590. I made the memorial in January 2012 and there is a picture of his tombstone. The birth and death years are the same so I hope this is the David Main you are looking for. There are other Main's buried there ( Margaret, John N, Andrew B and Margaret and Mary E dau's of DJ and M).
